As a person who’s over 35, my dad took me to see Top Gun in 1986. THIS has to be seen in a theater! To honor his memory and the wonderful memories of watching a movie with a live audience, the nostalgia of going back to the movies has kicked in. I’m there. Can’t wait for the vibe of the theater. Thanks Dad, I miss you.
I'll definitely be seeing this at least twice on opening weekend. First time will be in a Dolby Cinema...the sound of the jet engines and gunfire will be incredible in that format. Second time will be in IMAX, as the entire film (including in-cockpit shots) was shot with IMAX cameras and will have the expanded 1.90:1 aspect ratio.
The actors aren’t flying the fighter jets. My understanding is that they are two seater ones, so there’s a pilot in the front seat and they are in the second seat, so them in the planes with the g-force is real, but they’re not flying. I’m so excited for this. It’s been 2 years since trailer1 so I can’t wait. Plus good for you choosing to see it in a cinema over reacting on here. Your enjoyment of a film should always be the top priority.
Just home from a uk preview screening. It’s incredible. I loved the original. I’ve been excited. I’ve had high expectations. It topped them all. Stronger story, better character development, incredible flying sequences and nostalgia so well incorporated. Already booked for when it’s officially out next week. Definitely don’t react to this. Get yourselves to a huge cinema screen with great sound! But do tell us what you think of it.
The seventh and eighth sequels of Mission Impossible will be revealed as soon as possible! Tom Cruise is returning to these two final movies 🎥 as IMF Agent Ethan Hunt! There will be spinoffs of the Mission Impossible franchise who wants to reprise their characters in their own solo Mission Impossible franchise!
Idk why but I have a feeling Val’s only appearance in the movie will be via that headshot of him. Due to his medical problems, I think he still needs a voice box to talk, there’s no way he could be more than just a tiny cameo…sadlly. Go watch the Val Kilmer Larry King interview from 8 years ago. If Val was still like that he probably would have been a big supporting role.
He does only get one scene in live action, but despite it's brevity it is really not a cameo. That is a weighty, weighty moment. Also, they used digital synthesis to give him a voice.
And they answer your guys's question no Tom Cruise did not fly any of these super hornets. All the actors including Tom Cruise only got back seat rides in the two seat variant of the Super hornet with cameras attached to the cockpit.
i think i want to go see this in cinemas. i do worry about the box office thing tho because it comes out what 14 days after Doctor Strange. and most of the money would go to see Doctor Strange. the trailer looks decent.

Just like original the actors cannot fly them. I just wonder how they do explosions in the air no cgi back then and this is not cgi.
@@HardKore5250 they used models of the aircraft and blew them up. And I'm guessing that's what they're doing with the new one.
