That blue rhino ratsnake looked unreal, it looks like some beautiful mythical creature that you'd see in a dream because it doesn't seem real but it is. So absolutely incredible.

Reptiles really are awesome, and SO important for the enviroment.
Faves are Dāv for his fun and humorous way of delivering his knowledge. Wickens though for sure for his no nonsense approach to delivering facts in a simple to understand way that's never boring but also not fluffed with so much "extra".

Omg I wish we could have Fijian Banded Iguanas in the US...only captive bred/born of course. I absolutely LOVE that Dr. Brown is keeping everyone accountable. This should be a standard for every reptile show.

That's wonderful! I've seen so many changes in the way we keep animals in my lifetime and it gets better all the time. Reptiles weren't even given a thought. Sadly...I feel like the US is getting behind a lot of the rest of the world in this area.

I would have to say I don’t have a favorite but Adam wikens wicked reptiles is probably at the top of my watch list followed by reptiliatus. Nothing negative about any of the tubers showed but Adam your personality and honest remarks all the time keeps me watching

I’m going to my 1st expo in the spring of 2023. I’m SO excited! I’ve been researching Western Hognose snakes prior to Covid but Covid happened so I postponed getting my little friend. THIS next year is it… I’ve bought all he needs (for about 2 years (haha) minus his food as I wanted to buy that fresh (of course). I’m going to wait until after Mr Hognose is settled and probably get some sort of frog in the next couple/few years. I obviously have a ton of research to do before making that plunge though. 😊❤
Favorite animal TH-camr is Petco. Nothing better than some good ol’ tarantula content

I have to admit that I like your vlog the best. Your knowledge of these animals, your calm demeanor and soft voice seems to me to be perfect around these pets. Loud, animated voices, waiving animals about, putting cloths on lizards and a negative attitude towards others is not what I enjoy. And now I look forward to your next trip.
But I imagine that means you may miss a post or two...the only part I don't like. YOUR life interferes with MY enjoyment of your regular posts!

Hello I have a crocodile skink that I would like to rehome do you want to consider taking it or know of an organization that can take it .
I haven’t had much luck with stenodactylus unfortunately, they’re a neat little gecko and supposed to be fairly easy to keep, but I just haven’t had much luck with them 😕
I’m sorry to hear that! I’ve had my original pair since June and they seem to be doing very well for me! I mostly feed mine fruit flies and pinhead crickets

Very nice and accepting place where so many brilliant hobbyists gather and socialize. Totally unlike my country, where micro-level politics, backstabbing, secrecy and quasi-legal moves dominate our mostly stillborn hobby. Other European countries with much less population do have registered legal breeders and expos by now, we don’t. Sweden and even Croatia for example have smaller populations than Greece, but have all of those, but in Greece there is nothing. At least we have some specialized stores.

Blue rhino rat snakes are really cool, but buying a juvenile is such a gamble--it might not end up being a blue, just a regular green! (still a great snake though)

@@Reptiliatus Grain of salt as this is just my assumption, but even two blue parents won't necessarily produce xanthic offspring (remember those recessive/dominant chicken cross charts from middle school! )--since they hatch out and remain a brown color for some time. I think Northern Lights mentions this on their site; rhinos (and the other cool mountain species of southeast Asia) really deserve more popularity, all the same

Question of the day was not specific to animal TH-camr. So I'm calling out a few nonanimal related TH-camrs! Lolol Decoherent, AttorneyTom, MrBallen, and Blacktail Studios.
As for animal TH-camrs. It's so hard because there's so many good ones, the ones I watch the most is Weed 'em & Reap, Sandi Brock, and Raleigh Link. All three of which don't have reptiles, but I think are great nonetheless!!!

I ended up picking up a male high red gargoyle gecko. Spent more than I wanted spend on a single animal but I saw him and had to get him.
He wasn't a Impulse buy, I planned on buying a male gargoyle gecko. Is it just me or have gargoyles been getting cheaper these last couple of years? I remember seeing them for $700+ before. Now I see some of the cheaper ones for $200ish.
I was going to go to expo we just had, but unfortunately I started to feel sick on the Friday and tested positive. So no expo for me this time. I didn't really need anything, I just like to get out and see the stuff.
