Hi everybody! Thank you so much for watching! Many of you have expressed interest in purchasing animals from Brandon. For all your inquiries please contact his business email: brandon@canadiancoldblood.com or DM him at his business Instagram account: @canadiancoldblood . *Please note that his website isn’t currently updated. Tell him I sent you his way if you like!
Mr. Van Asten! My Grade 10 and 11 highschool science teacher. I was already a reptile hobbyist, and having your teacher be a reptile breeder as well was the coolest. Always brought in animals to class.
2 years on and I still come back and watch this. Brandon is one of the best in our hobby and you did a marvelous job showcasing what he does. lets see if you can take a trip out there in 2024 to see what has changed and maybe pick yourself up a knob-tail gecko or a black tree monitor
I have emailed with Brandon before he is an awesome guy and I know a few people with animals he produced and they are excellent. So cool to finally see his facility and some of his monitors, I know he has a LOT of special things that didn't get shown. I would love to see Brandon with his own TH-cam channel too.
What a treat to visit such a phenomenal facility. Wish I could have a monitor but until then I’m living vicariously through you lol keep these awesome videos coming!!
I have definitely found my guy for greens yellows blues and blacks. I learned a lot from looking at his caging setups too. I had already thought of the idea of the cork tubes lining the back wall like that, so when you see a master doing it, you know your brain is in the right place. I am going to gravitate to a second species group with the Australian knob tails and a few others, so seeing him as a source for a lot of the animals I am planning on working with is a wonderful thing to glean from another one of your awesome videos my friend!! Congrats.
11:20 That’s how my Zali is. He doesn’t hide so much anymore. But once he gets over the novelty of his enclosure. He just chills out. He used to favor his cork bark, he got over it. Then he favored this pile of sphagnum moss, got over that. Now he sits on rocks, unless he needs water. Animals just be super chill.
@@Reptiliatus I caught up on your green tree monitor videos as well. Very impressive 👏 👌 👍. I'm in the marker & I love how you care and enrich yours. Thanks for the great video & tips.
So cool glad i seen this video... I was going to get a red ackie... But now im thinking yellow...... Also them rock monitors are cool both. Kinds of them they are a doable size for monitors
Stunning... Never seen Platysaurus boradleyi before. I breed Lygodactylus Williamsi, also very small habitat in africa tansania, highly endangered and also blue and beautiful! :P
Good thing about blue tree monitor is that when they grow full? Their color still exists. I heard that one color tree monitor ( Think black or something) lose their color when they grow up!
My forty years of experience in raising Water Monitor to seven feet. Clip the claws, they will be easy and docile to handle. The sharp unclipped claws make the monitor lizard wilder.
Wow I love it. We need more breeder like him in Canada. I am looking to get in touch with him and open my market here in Québec. I did't know anythings about him. Thank's for sharing! That open few door here in Québec. Thank,s again! Yannick Mercier from Wild Natur Co.-Nature Sauvage Enr.
Amazing video so glad u went there, ive been following them on Instagram but they don't post much. Would like to get a blue some time next year from them 😁
As an Australian I feel it is my duty to tell you that that Kimberly Rock Monitor is in fact a Goanna. Goanna is pretty much a catch-all name for most species of varanus monitors in Australia and I just feel you need to know that.
great video, awesome collection. What I'm interested in. How does he create the humidity fpr the tree monitors. He keeps the tree monitors in wooden enclosures, they look very dry
we have a blue bearded lizzard aswell here in south africa and i do think you should try get your hands on a thorny lizzard from south african savahnas
