Yesterday my 2001 chevy silverado Z-71 4X4 started shifting really hard into 1st gear when I stopped I could hear the teeth making noise as it finally went into gear. Looking around searching transmission problems so I would have some kind of idea as to what is my problem is I found you. I hope this is the problem and have an idea as to what you showed me. Thank you and about halfway through your presentation I found myself praying for you with those Holy Spirit Goosebumps running all over me asking the Lord to bless you more than you can imagine. I have found down through the years that those Goosebumps are from a manifestation of the Holy Spirit letting me know that what I am praying or saying is actually what the Lord wants me to be saying. The anointing of the Holy Spirit!!! Thank you again and know that when you give, as you are doing, ago that this means everything we do. Thank you for your help.
So did the Holy Spirit fix your transmission shifting, that is the question we all want to know. Hopefully you answer this with a simple and honest yes or no, not a long rambling smoke and mirrors ram jam.
Which one is solenoid A and which one is Solenoid B. Is there any difference in solenoid A and B? Do I purchase 2 of the same catalog number for A and B to be replaced? I have a 2015 5.3 Yukon with a transmission 4L60-E-RWD. Will you tell me what the catalog numbers are using AC Delco parts for these 2 solenoids. Thanks Chris
Did a great job on explaining man. I gotta change mine today. Another guy told me to loosen the exhaust bolts . What do you recommend for a impact drill size I have no money but need to buy one
Hey thanks ! But honestly you could buy any 1/4 drill gun that takes the adapter to put 1/4 3/8 1/2 and for as far as impact gun to take lug nuts off I would go to dewalt #1 then Milwaukee and last makita
Did you have to undo the Y pipe to get the pan off i see alot of videos showing the pan wouod not be able to come all the way out because of the Y pipe
I had a guy rebuild my transmission and now I have no forward gears and I'm trying to figure out why. I drove the truck to him and had to have it towed home, pretty sad.

I got codes 0740, 0753, 0758, 0785, 1860. All have to do with shift solenoids and their circuits. The truck clearly has a serious loss of power. Feels like it doesn’t have a 1st or maybe even 2nd gear. Rpm’s won’t go very high either. Shits wild
@@DanielFlores-og4pd Well it turned out to be the ignition wiring on my truck. I’m not sure how that even makes sense but that’s what it was. Just took mine to a trusted mechanic. He said he’s seen it happen before. Considering you have to hot wire the starter I bet that’s your problem too
@sillygily4435 only way it would turn on is taking out the starter relay and cross a wire on 30 over 78 with the ignition on it finally turns on bit when it does and I drive it I get that loss of power exactly in the video
I dont know, but my 2011 colorado 4x4 5.3 only has a/b solenoids for upshifting. The bigger full size trucks (at least prior to 09' or 07'?) have 4 solenoids. I haven't cracked my pan open yet... takes a lot of reading and watching to feel confident about what's inside your tranny without actually opening her up...
La verdad creo y es el piloto y el pasajero es el “B” .. pero yo te recomiendo cambiar los 2 y solo ten cuidado con el resostito porque puede salir volando y perderlo
Thank you soo much. Just did this process to my Denali. Spent like 100 bucks on parts instead of replacing my whole transmission.
Welcome.. glad it help

Absolutely awesome great presentation helped me a lot thank you brother
Great job!!! Great info
Hello
Good job
Damn I wish you was in Gainesville Georgia
I'd get you to work on my car
You're good
The parts store sold me two of the same solenoids 1,2-2,3 I replaced both with identical solenoids
Great video👍🏻
Have a question? What does it mean when you have a transmission leak and your truck won’t shift into any gears
Shift arm must be stuck or your safety neutral switch must not be working
@@Jbolanos10 I mean like it will shift but the car won’t move in any gear, it’s like it’s in neutral,I have a 1997 Chevy blazer.

Thanks, great help
A and B are the same? Or is there a part number for each
They are the same
So I bought 07 Silverado n drive n 3rd gear r gone ,is that shift solenoid
I have 2000 Chevrolet silverado is do the same thing lake your's do i have to change both solenoid?
You don’t have to replace the other one , but since I was already there. I went and did them cuz they not expensive

They are both the same number anyways,
Replacing both gives you a better chance on having to go back and take the pan down again to replace the sensor
in a 99 same engine, b is on the passenger side, a is the driver's side.
@@Jbolanos10 I replaced the original pan with a pan with a plug and it has made life so much easier.👍🏻

Sensor?
How to mover that brack on gmc transmission
Brack=bracket???? And if that’s wht you referring you shouldn’t have to remove it ...

Yea they are the same ones
Is this a 4wd?
Nah. Just a rear wheel drive

GM trucks are checked in park not neutral.. it says right on the dip stick
Same difference
@@tylerparker3024 actually not really.. in neutral the pump is running a high pressure (fluid moving around more) so the reading won't be as accurate
No gasket sealer?
Nop no need to

Thats a dumb move. Why not start by draining that fluid by unpluging the big bolt.
Because it don’t have one !!! Duhhhh
Pumping it out of the dipstick tube is the best.
Talk too much
