Very nice work you have done the effort is much appreciated Oli! One thing I feel you should have highlighted in a SC video, which together with bugs is the source of all SC players frustrations, it's the time you spend preparing/going into a mission. So when the mission fails or bugs out, the REAL PAIN (every SC knows very well) is the amount of tedious time you spent to get to that point for the game to fail on you.

One guy pirated me and we killed eachother at the same time I still ended up loosing 7 million of recycled materials to those pirates because the game kept bugging out and wouldn’t spawn a ship in the hangar, instead they kept getting lost, so I couldn’t fly back to fight them. Haven’t touched the game since. That guy made 9 million off of that and the game didn’t even let me fight back.

Props on the time and effort put into this video. Looks like you really spent a good amount of time putting everything together. Great job. You can really tell you put the work in.
Nicely done Olli, as others have said a perfect view of life in the verse, the ups and downs.. Stay out of those caves though I can't take the pressure! Learn from your mistakes i see so many people in a rage because they bet everything on one load of cargo don't be greedy, do two missions of half the value a lot safer and less likely to rage.
I just finished the whole video. I knew playing would be like that from watching other videos but, I didn't know until now how bad it would feel. You put so much TIME & effort into building your 1st million, not to mention all your determination to persist and then to see you get stepped on & rubbed out like that. Mate, excellent, love these kind of videos, snippets of the vids commentary, adds a story element to it, brilliant. Good job and can't wait for upcoming!
Great vid Ollie. Really enjoyed the whole thing. It was a bit slow to start, but got really invested with the ups and downs getting into the middle and end. Love to see more, following on from this character arc. Must have been a lot of work. But great stuff.
Lovin this video, Olli! There are definitely times where this game feels draining but there are others that make this game worth it IMO. I would like to see the 100 Day video but wouldn't mind that being in parts so you don't get burnt out. Good work and keep on space truckin'.
Loved it. It was great. Hope you do more. I felt the pain of the crashes, which I know is super frustrating, but it was enjoyable to watch none the less.
One of my friends is trying to get me to buy this game, but seeing all these bug occur makes me not wanna buy it. But it just looks like a good game anyway.
This was great...I would really enjoy seeing a lot more of this series (or a new one in a similar vein). Really enjoyable and got me to subscribe to boot. Cheers.

By the way a little helpful tip the next time you go mining. bring a friend along and the both of you can work together on those hard mine rocks easier. Also, I would enjoy seeing more from you sir.
I wish we’d have you be the character you’re playing. So like, you narrating in the players a perspective not in the gamers. I think it gives it that little touch of immersion

You get rich from hours upon hours of gameplay, then some bunch of complete A******'s shoot you with your door open, and take absolutely everything you have worked so hard to get, and because you're solo, there's Nothing you can do about it! Good for you, this is awesome to see, just made it past the intro and its nice to see someone trying something new and creative. TBH I kinda stopped watching your content because things did seem ULTRA repetitive, but this is great so far!
I'm surprised this video exists - this is exactly what I wanted (at least in theory; not watched it yet). My interest in the game is starting to increase, but I actually have no clue what I'd DO.
Great Idea! I havent gotten into the video yet, but this is one of those ideas which I think youtubers should do more and show the "early" days. Often you just see people that already has invested tons and tons of money and got big ships etc. But this feels more like... an adventure!
For the first time I managed to mine in a cave and get out. If you can get in with a Pisces you can illuminate your way. Yellow zones are active climb points but some climb points are not easy to see. Practice running and jumping to transverse high points.
Man if something like that happened to me, I would be so done with this game. I hate games that don't respect your time, specially when you have to deal with a ton of issues. I have a couple ships in Star Citizen, but I haven't played it much because it's just too unstable and laggy. I think I'll die before I get the chance to play a stable version of the game.
I am all for the multiple videos, I truly enjoy your content and love Star Citizen. I am curious how many times you been "Citizened" by lag, server crashes, random ship explosions, etc, basically all the awesomeness that SC has to offer!
Loved this video. Certainly, want to see more because it came off as my typical days in the verse. I felt your pain when your ship and cargo were stolen. I've been dealing with annoying pirates lately. This video though was awesome.
Also the crawl space in the cave you went through it's a good job you didn't get through I found that same cave once and found myself stuck there during an investigation looking for a body, once you get through the crawl space to that one part of the cave you can't get back into the crawl space and it's the only reachable way out except another opening on top a cliff in the right corner of the entry to that space you saw the bounty on Day 5, I got stuck there during a different mission and there was no other clear exit I tried to get into gap but due to the size of my gear I could not at least that's what I thought but even after stripping down I couldn't get back through the crawl space I came in from... don't use that crawlspace your supposed to be able to go back through it but you can't i'm assuming a bug! either that your your meant to be able to climb up to the small raised platform where the other exit is but I was unable to climb it! all in all it was a no go in any version of 3.23.X dunno about 3.24 but since it isn't a priority lets assume it's still bugged unless CIG say otherwise! Also glad you reversed on the exploding rock when mining my friend was doing well until the very last one he came back for greedy reasons this time without my supervision (honestly I should of reminded him to keep in the green it was his first week in SC and he had just got the ROC) he sadly exploded that final rock and it damaged the ROC he was unable to drive I had to use the tractor on the cutlass black of theirs to get it back in the ship and even getting it back to a vehicle pad to recall it at an outpost didn't work it was bugged and buggered, eventually he got it working but long after I went offline as I was tired despite my helping him learn mining I never saw a cut of the pay since I left before he got the diamonds he said it wasn't much anyways he switched jobs and realised it wasn't for him said it was too tedious and to costly if something went wrong! I think after that he started doing ship wreckages around daymar's asteroid field the one in the specific location that's hard to find without going around daymar in a specific way, it involved weevil eggs so I was kind of out after that but I made 100k on the other cargo, after that never saw him again last I heard he went into salvage and got a vulture he's still on the friend list we just haven't talked since we had different playstyles! I quit packages and went into investigations at microtech Distrubution 13 (the 30+k investigation mission) and also wiping out the pirate trash while I was there to rob the criminals of all their gear while rescuing some scared staff at the centre I then sold all the pirate gear and even kept some for myself (gear cost money) so I could have armor and weapons for the next run kept all the ammo and bought some suppressors and other equipment so I could keep doing it I earn between 56k- 120-k per run and I would load it into local storage so I could do multiple trips. I imagine now cargo is fully in I will have to finally buy an empty container and drive my nursa in from a different entrance with the container inside and use em to store the guns & gear! not gonna be as easy so i'll probably need a wingman this time since I don't have local storage to access at anytime anywhere anymore!
Love this, it's a realistic look at how SC is to play. Would be cool if maybe you did this over an extended period but some group gameplay too so people can get an idea of what that can be like.
This is great! Just shows how much death to a spaceman will change things! A 30k escort doesn't sound so bad when risking nine figures! As always great content man! Keep it up!
@16:00 it looks like those NPCs noticed your ship and locked onto it. They are exiting the cave (wtf never seen this before besides the 1 890 jumper), and one of them even teleported right to it. New NPCs pathing out, and new foot NPCs noticing and fighting against ships... very exciting!
After 12 years, the amount of bugs for basic features and game mechanics is still staggering. Also, for a multiplayer game, it feels so empty. Until someone with a powerful store bought ship targets you, kills you and steals everything. Other then that, no interactions, no other ships, static npc's, no wildlife .. I also realise this game should appeal to people who don't want a challenge as the ai is abysmal.Ships don't seem to attack you and let you just shoot them and most AI ennemies don't seem to know you are there. But it must be frustrating to then die to an invisible or immortal enemy. I wanted to revisit this game after 5 years, but it seems that not so much has changed. Even worse .. the amount of frustration has increased as almost every feature in this game has game(play) breaking issues.
This is in line with the essence of a scam. The game is not actually very complete. But I don't believe they need so much money to develop it. Maybe 10-20 million US dollars is the upper limit. This is obviously a fundraising fraud.
this is the best kind of content for listening to you in the background while i work. Its a bit more narrative than a stream, but same low investment, where i can drop in and out between stints of work. I hope you find an easier workflow for producing these. I would even be satisfactory with narrowing this down to something like 2 hrs of StartCitizen a day... like if you only had 2hrs per day, then how far could you get? was that enjoyable? did you progress enough to make any meaning fulling gains from your rental? How long would it take to save up for a reclaimer if you only mined for 2 hrs a day? Soo many ways you could make this work. Also it could be a great picture of what start citizen can be fore your typical gamer who works 40-60 hours a day else where and can only dedicated a few hours each week to a game. Honestly i hope mission and economy teams should pay attention start balancing missions, payouts, and features based on your game play and voice over.
I know alot of people will have hate for them pirates but at the end of the day its a part of the day you got a few options to counter this. One hire a merc to fly with you, two do it with people and finally three don't do high risk jobs if you can'ttake the risk that area is intentionally a pvp zone
Fantastic series! Note, RMC trading has some of the highest profit margins that you can make legally in the game. Therefore it is also the most targeted item in the game for pirates. So if you're doing RMC trading make sure you either bring a friend or keep your head on a swivel and do not invest more than you can afford to lose in that trading.
I remember seeing "100Days" in one of your ship huds a few videos back. Totally missed that easter egg and connection to what you were eventually going to release ;)
I want to see you visit this method again come 4.0 to the PU. Would be a great visual of whether server meshing really changes the game as much as it's claimed to.
So, you can put 1 and 2 SCU containers into a Mustang Alpha. It's just hard to do it. But that cargo box on the bottom is meant for it. Just a very tight fit.
Although we know the risks in the verse, bugs aside, we are brave warriors when it comes to earning some cash! Better luck next time they say lol.. Great vid! Enjoyed watchnig it. Thanks!
Great Vid Olli! Really enjoyed it, but mostly, also that you show, how bad a state the game is! Have been playing NMS for a couple of months now, and not playing SC, and not planning to! Just watching you and a couple of other guys, cause of the state of the game, and not planing playing the extreme time sink patch 3.24. Perhaps i will jump in when 4 is released just to test the Zeus, naked or in a sperm suit, as I am not into Time sink gaming, with Item Bank etc. Cheers and ThanX for a great vid! PS!!! The scope is cool, would be awesome to see games like this in the future but can't see this being playable in the next decade. I imagine this game is in an infinite pesticide paradox at this point.
The missions to hunt Kopions on Microtech are paying 5k for 10 minutes of flying around near the surface and is both an easy way of making money and learn how to control the ship as a new starter. They lead to the 55k distribution centers missions as well where you can get all the armor you’ll need

Props on the time and effort put into this video. Looks like you really spent a good amount of time putting everything together. Great job. You can really tell you put the work in.
Such a cool playthrough video especially for new players. Loved it, thanks Olli.
i have watched this video like 3 times im getting back into this game and this is such a amazing representation presented in a really entertaining way
Nicely done Olli, as others have said a perfect view of life in the verse, the ups and downs..
Damn, what a horrific reality check. I've watched a lot of your video's, always thumbed up. This one made me subscribe. Thanks Olli
I am looking forward to more! Storytelling is a skill, and the best at it enjoy what they are doing. You seem to do exactly that. Don't skip the glitches. If SC watches this. It will motivate them to fix things. Point out that certain glitches are not SC problems but Itel is VERY important. Thank you for your efforts.
Good work and keep on space truckin'.
brilliant content....could watch this all day! would definatley love to see more of this for sure
I like this format. please keep them coming. Hopefully now that you have your Intel problem resolved you will have better luck with the next 15 days.
Loved the video! Thanks for learning us citizens some new tricks!
This was great...I would really enjoy seeing a lot more of this series (or a new one in a similar vein). Really enjoyable and got me to subscribe to boot. Cheers.
man, that Star Citizen OST is beautiful. When you moved up to the Mustang Alpha at the start, I got chills
Very interesting, good watch for sure.
Watched and Liked 👍
I'd love to see a whole SC series made out of this. 😊 i loved the video and looking forward to watching more of this.
Really cool to watch. Oh that panicked feeling we all get playing SC is perfectly replicated here. I was anxious alongside you when watching this 😂
Olli43 - enjoyed your entire video and sorry to hear about the Intel trouble you experienced from it.
"At day 3 god decided to give me temporal parkinson and I couldn't reload my gun, he also lagged the universe, he was maybe downloading cyberpunk in his godly pc"
This video was the perfect example of when Rust players, play Star Citizen! You get rich from hours upon hours of gameplay, then some bunch of complete A******'s shoot you with your door open, and take absolutely everything you have worked so hard to get, and because you're solo, there's Nothing you can do about it! WELCOME TO RUST..... I mean Star Citizen!
Why, is doing a key feature of the game, being an "a********" to you, when you can and do the same thing?
@@everythingponyyou’re an asshole if you fight people who are defenseless, and don’t want to fight. If you don’t like being called an asshole then don’t be one.
bro got butthurt on rust before

Well done! This video is a better presentation of the game.
Good for you, this is awesome to see, just made it past the intro and its nice to see someone trying something new and creative. TBH I kinda stopped watching your content because things did seem ULTRA repetitive, but this is great so far!
Loved this! I definitely want to see all 100 days
I'm surprised this video exists - this is exactly what I wanted (at least in theory; not watched it yet). My interest in the game is starting to increase, but I actually have no clue what I'd DO.
This video is gorgeous. Pls continue so we can have this type of contents
Great Idea! I havent gotten into the video yet, but this is one of those ideas which I think youtubers should do more and show the "early" days. Often you just see people that already has invested tons and tons of money and got big ships etc. But this feels more like... an adventure!
I always enjoy watching zero to hero gameplay. The setbacks are frustrating, but the risk of that makes it much more exciting.
Thanks for taking us along, Olli!
For the first time I managed to mine in a cave and get out. If you can get in with a Pisces you can illuminate your way. Yellow zones are active climb points but some climb points are not easy to see. Practice running and jumping to transverse high points.
Great video! hope this encourages people to find some friendly players to help with those lucrative cargo runs before going alone.
Day 1
I think I will miss sooo much that "I"inventory user interface
AI works very well tnx for the vid
I am loving this video. I hope you will do something similar for 4.0. would love to see your journey when that patch drops.
10:52 - the guy who you shot in the cave here looks like he stepped on some LEGO.
Good stuff Olli! Push as far as you can Sir :) See you in the verse.
This game looks so cool its disappointing that it doesn't work. Especially considering how much support this game has gotten.
Great vid! Enjoyed very much. Hope to see more.
I don't know how you do it ollie.... the game bugs hampering every task you're trying to do. Yet you keep an optimistic tone. Good on ya
I am all for the multiple videos, I truly enjoy your content and love Star Citizen. I am curious how many times you been "Citizened" by lag, server crashes, random ship explosions, etc, basically all the awesomeness that SC has to offer!
I still call any shit like that getting dayz’d
@@jemeye6747 Sure that works as long as we all understand the meaning :)
That was honestly great. I know it was likely a slog, but it was very enjoyable, and I didn't get bored like other channels.
12 years of development :D
but the way you put it in your video is so g8 thank you
this is the best kind of content for listening to you in the background while i work.
Dude I make short videos and those are a challenge to make haha. I’m always so impressed by your content man, keep it up and keep it coming!
Yeah Olli...I've been really looking forward to this! 🍿
played the free fly weekend, watched the vid and now I bought a mustang. not blaming you afterwards; going in with open eyes after seeing this ;)
Great work, hope something similar is possible with a fixed pc and 3.24 👍🙂
I know alot of people will have hate for them pirates but at the end of the day its a part of the day you got a few options to counter this. One hire a merc to fly with you, two do it with people and finally three don't do high risk jobs if you can'ttake the risk that area is intentionally a pvp zone
Great video! I always suggest playing with others helps make the bugs less painful
I really hope I’ll have enough time to watch all the different videos once I start university this year, really excited anyways though.
I remember seeing "100Days" in one of your ship huds a few videos back. Totally missed that easter egg and connection to what you were eventually going to release ;)
2:34 you’re welcome
I want to see you visit this method again come 4.0 to the PU. Would be a great visual of whether server meshing really changes the game as much as it's claimed to.
Yep, pretty much mirrors my life in the 'verse. 😀
Great vid showing the reality of Star Citizen.
So, you can put 1 and 2 SCU containers into a Mustang Alpha. It's just hard to do it. But that cargo box on the bottom is meant for it. Just a very tight fit.
I really hope you will do one of these for one of your first playthroughs with Piro.
PS!!! Just a thought!!! Was it VoiDude that took you out???? 😂😂
I was really hesitant to buid a gaming PC just to play Star Citizen, 20 minutes into the video (so something like 55 bugs later), you just saved me 2000 bucks lol
if you cant deal with bugs then yeah you shouldnt be playing games man its an amazing game the bugs are a headache but it doesnt change the fact you wont find a better game that does this style any better out there so if i was you id buy that pc spend the 45 dollars for a ship and access to the game and just enjoy your self man !
These bugs will even affect the completion of the task. This is an intolerable error.
@@JMyke
You are seriously telling someone that doesn't want to be bothered with game breaking bugs... that he/she is wrong.
If you can't deal with someone saying he won't spend a good amount of money on a new system for a game who might not be enjoyable due to bugs... then yeah, you shouldn't be watching these videos and reading comments.
i've been waiting to get into the game when it was in a playable state. Seems like its still years away. Awesome vids tho, i can play through your eyes ;)
This game looks like it has the potential to be the best game of the last 20 years whilst simultaneously being unplayable due to not being finished. The scope is cool, would be awesome to see games like this in the future but can't see this being playable in the next decade. I imagine this game is in an infinite pesticide paradox at this point.
Yes... Please keep them coming...
The missions to hunt Kopions on Microtech are paying 5k for 10 minutes of flying around near the surface and is both an easy way of making money and learn how to control the ship as a new starter. They lead to the 55k distribution centers missions as well where you can get all the armor you’ll need
Amazing video!!!
I like this concept for a video. Makes gameplay more grounded when you don’t have 100 ships and 50 million auec.
