Ayit is the best and my absolute favourite plane in the whole game. It's my most played vehicle, and I can pop out at least 3 kills every game, usually 4 to 7. It is absolutely insane.
This is the best plane in the game fr. Not only it has killer missiles for its BR, it's also very competent in dogfighting. I've beaten Mig-19s in duels and soloed multiple Mig-21s and Su-25s on that thing. Not to mention the insane pleasure of shoving 9Ds in F-104's arses...

I’ve been grinding the line up to this jet and out of all of Israelis jets at this rank, this is probably the best one . 4 missiles and a gun pod so you win every dual with a spray of 30 and 20 mm cannons , you take 2 aim9s and 2 safirs launch the aim9s first as you come down out of the sky then the shafirs when your dogfighting , I’ve been getting 6 kills a game on my best games . Have someone chasing you? Wait for them to draw close enough and then go up , most of the jets will pass you as you climb giving you a chance to line up the cannons or fire off a missile , you can climb up early or go in fighting at around 600ish mph I like to keep it at , never use the boost on take off , get to 220mph and take off , level off and you beat most other afterburner jets to the battle , when your at 400mph or higher get to around 2-4k feet and then use booster to keep your speed

Something to keep in mind with the Ayit is that you can actually save the rocket boosters to use later in the match. And because the acceleration is so good you don’t really need them for takeoff anyway. It’s gotten me some kills I maybe wouldn’t have gotten and saved me from getting hit a few times too. Also it’s fun 😂

But you keep them, and pull hard into a vertical manoeuvre that the enemy thinks he has you and you go zippppp and get a middle solution or gun solution on them...
I'm not sure if you ever played the AMX, but the premium one has some crazy missiles and holds energy insanely well, would make for a good video I think
I love that thing. It's my favourite 9.3 together with the US F100D. But prefer the Ayit a bit more. Sadly I can't use it in ground RB anymore since there is no proper 9.7 or 10.0 lineup for Israel. The shafir 2 are ok but nothing more. I would compare them to the red redtops before the rework with maybe 200m more range and 2G more pull.
9.3 would be so much more enjoyable if the F8U spam wasn't so bad. The double whammy of it being undertiered along with the ripping change made every rando start flying it... Still will forever be hilarious slapping flareless supersonics in the Ayit tho
i have 2k hours, i think low tier jets would benefit from the removal of aim 9Bs and a separation of BR to cordon off missile+flare jets from non flare jets
I dont have that many hours like you but i think aim9b/r3s/... are a good thing they arent that great but against faster enemys like the 9.3 Supersonics they are pretty useful. Also everyone knows how to dodge an aim9b. But planes like this needs to be more balanced, another decompreson or even seperated because its like a better mini a10 at a really low br.
glad you finally took a look at this little shitter. with the recent br moves, the ayit has gone from really good, to borderline OP. The nice good missiles at the low br with flares and a much more powerfull engine than the other A4's, is just amazing.

I just literally ground aand spaded this jet out 2 days ago and all I was getting for matches was 10.3 matches 9 out of 10 matches ah no sorry more like 8 out of 10 matches I was bottom tier. Plus facing Su=25K those things actually fly just as fast as this A-4N its crazy all I know is this jet has some pretty nasty cannons on it.

It isnt for fuel, the modernized versions lacked space for the new eletronics, thats why that exists.

Love this plane, I wish it was usable in SIM but it doesnt have a target reticule for its gun due to a bug.
I dont think it is a bug, many early cold war aircraft have just gyro sights (the triangle the a4's HUD) :)
It is a bug, as it's present when you have a bomb sight and it has a fully functional HUD.
