IMO, F3H is a solid plane. It flies pretty well and is a decent dogfighter. But it just doesn’t have flares. Still, I enjoy flying it before I got my hands on the Crusader.
My main issue with the early Sparrows is actually the Radar. Trying to get a lock is near impossible, so those sparrows are only good against bombers you're chasing. That's the only kills I've ever got with them. But the F3 is very nimble, with good guns and 4 sidewinders. It's a pretty tough costumer, but suffers in uptiers due to the lack of counter messures.
He was mostly playing against bots, bots don't turn, they just fly to a base a bomb it without ever doing anything else. I saw that in sim too. A me 262 keept taking off and flew straight until he was killed by a AA defense...more than 10times
As someone who is using the demon regularly (until I get a Phantom) it was a pain in the ass to start with. I demoted her to rocket spamming and base bombing with mk84s until I had better climb rate and the worst Missiles in the game. And radar clutter is unreal unless I'm microwaving my wingman

use it to stalled or slow aircraft, never launch it more than 2.1km against subsonic that goes straight line or more than 1.6km supersonic that goes straight for reliable kill that goes straight line. dont bother to use it for kill when you noticed by them, instead use it to dry their energy and then finish them with gun. Also, dont bother to use it against plane with flare, except you know them doesnt notice you and chase your ally.

I mean… don’t you also hate when someone shoots you down when you are grounded or when trying to take off? You cant to anything in that moment, you feel powerless…
i tried that thing in the dev sever, i hated flying this plane, even when spaded i the aim7s wouldnt work half the time, and the aim 9bs i dont wanna get started on that

My tip for jets with no flares is to carry 1 rocket pod in case of missiles

Wow I wish I had that problem. Every game I play it’s a 104, G8U, or f5s immediately cuz they know you’re the weakest plane in the lobby.
