- Down to their final weeks of Police College, the recruits enter the FIELD TRAINING UNIT. Kitted out in full uniform and attending jobs - things become a lot more real as they experience being in blue in public.

These videos have made me want to be more motivated and determined to be a police officer
God I love these videos and how each cop is developing
Well done guys, you have all come a long way in a really short space of time. Awesome work 👍
Awesome stuff. I wish this series wouldn't end
I know what you mean! But our recruits graduate next week, can you believe?! It does mean that we can make some other cool content though :)
Good call, Thaeos!
@newzealandpolice now would be a great time for a catch up
@@newzealandpolice yup
I really want to be in the police force..man I just love the environment, always wanted to be a police officer, it's great watching how these group go through the process of being a actual police officer 👌🏾
Sent these videos to my daughter who is hoping to join soon.
These videos are needed on main stream tv. There awesome. Is 44 years old too late to join 👍
I'm going to the army but the police is something that im definitely going to do when I feel I'm ready and have enough experience
Military service first THEN policing is a smart option, imho.
Auckland or Wellington? I've heard some say that Wellington is a little more "immersive" because it's a more 24/7 environment.
How many weeks do you have at police college and when can you like go on patrol and is the next video going to be?
Sam’s Gold
Well and truly.
This looks awesome, I’m applying at the end of the year so hopefully I get in!
Awesome Jay! If you've got any questions - shoot them through! :)
I'm still quite young, currently 17 going on 18 soon, but I feel that this will lower my chances of getting selected as I don't have much experience? I don't know if it's worth applying until im a bit older with more experience.
It's definitely worth applying, age doesn't always reflect experience. Have a chat to recruitment about and see what you think as your find out more about the job.

So would that mean it would be a 1U or a 1V ???
radar tuning forks?
Can one join the police if you had a drink driving charge from 5 years ago?.
Working at night is not my type but do you require to work night shifts as a police officer?
2 early shifts, 2 late shifts, and 2 night shifts is the rotating roster for frontline staff - it is something to get used to for sure!
Auckland Police TV what are the times for those, are they the same as Australia
Would love to join the police. But don't have a full license yet and won't get one for a year 😕
A year goes by faster than you'd think Sam :)
It’s been a year
Hey sam, did you get your licence?
weeak. get a pursuit, you won't.
can i get, 2 filet of fish
the end YUCK
They don't carry a firearm, some situations a taser isn't going to cut it, they're playing a dangerous game.
But they do carry a firearm?
I'm gonna go US marines
How long is police college?
@Michael Brown Thank you!
Have you done it?
@Michael Brown Good luck!
First
I really like laura, she is great, but brush that hair gurl!!!
Why are fingerprints still used today, when DNA is more specific and more relevant?
world where you get fined for your unsafety. It's up to the driver or passanger to wear the seat belt but not under 18. safety over kill rofl.
Hi Pasan, It's our job to keep you safe and the seat belt rules do just that, seat belts save lives, so don't forget to buckle up.
I think it's up to myself about my safety :)
