I believe that hard spiked tip is the snail's radula, a tonguelike structure covered in tiny rasping teeth. If you didn't know molluscs had teeth -- well, now you do! I'd be all over the crayfish - it's one of my favorite crustacean foods, seasoned Cajun style or otherwise.

Not only is broccoli just great to dip in cheese and sauces, but the vitamins in broccoli need to attach to a fat in order to fully absorb into our bodies. So not only are you getting a tastier treat, but youre also getting the most you possibly can get out of broccoli when you eat it with cheese! (or another favorite savory fat)
