Fabbrini is a Steinway modified by a piano tuner in Italy named Fabbrini. It is not a Fazioli they are two separate piano's.

I have heard a lot of different opinions about fazioli, At first I also thought there was nothing particularly surprising about it, it didn't sound as warm as kawai or other grand pianos, in my opinion it is very sensitive to touch and you can change the tone co-ordinally, and if you hear his bass in real life, then he seems to growl, the sound literally snatches my soul.

What I love about Fabiola is about how it’s extremely sensitive to touch, that’s what makes it so special. Playing fantaisie impromptu on a Fazioli is a crazy experience

It's depends on a million things.
Of course one is , the exact year and model, but the most important factor is the personal
preferences... both have advantages and disadvantages to the other. On this level , there are no objective judgment is available. It's up to the question
what's more important for you ...
For me , the robust powerful bass
section of the Hamburg Steinway is really impressive. ( I am usually
not too impresed of the American Steinway...) -- the Fazioli is better in other sound requirements.

I only know two people with a baby grand Steinway. Both pianos are from the late 1800s. My aunt teaches piano lessons on hers. It's otherwise a conversation piece because they enjoy showing off, pretending that they're not showing off. I don't think my neighbors play theirs at all. I think I may have played it once, 25 years ago.

I liked Fazioli as expected. Then blind tested it and found Steinway was actually better. It could be due to microphones placement and many other factors, not talking about proper device to play the sound from TH-cam (not a phone, lol!)

Bost sound outstanding. But I have to say, if I had to make an on the spot choice it would be the Fazioli. It just had that little extra "sparkle" that set it apart. Without a side-by-side nobody would know the difference. And it all depends on the acoustic environment.
