English CC will be a work in progress! When it comes to growth, it will be very individualized to the person’s channel. This video covers some more of the basics that everyone can make use of. Maybe in a few years the landscape of YT will change again. But until then, I hope that this video will encourage new beginners to try many things. Feel free to ask questions or suggest videos you would like to see. If you're look for a place to discuss VTubing and content creation, feel free to join the Discord (discord.gg/drbz9d4uVM ) and start chatting in #cc・discussion. We have like minded creators striving for similar goals!
woah i'm honored to be mentioned in a video on TH-cam tips, let alone one for Vtubers despite being an unconventional one 😳*checks obsidian notes* based on my own research and experience I agree with the tips you chose to include, especially with being innovative beyond the Vtuber meta by having non-Vtubers as role models because of how saturated and competitive it can be. hope both your channel and your obsidian graph continues to grow !
Oh man I'm kinda embarrassed because I admire your videos haha I gave Obsidian an honest try a year or two back, but it didn't really fit my style. However, your videos really stuck with me throughout the years because you are clearly someone who puts a lot of effort into teaching other people through your editing style. I'm a bit of a beginner as an editor, and it's something I want to get better at as I release more videos. You're really awesome and you put forth great work!
@@JueriHaan ahh yeah that's totally fair, hope you found an app that works for you now ! i appreciate the kind words and your admiration to good tutorials. sometimes the vtuber-related effort i put into my videos like my recent 3d model hasn't been received as well (which is fair since they're there for obsidian content not a purple haired vtuber 😅), but recently i've been starting to continue evolving my editing style to include more diagrams, stories, and analogies to enhance the tutorial experience. also, even if you've just started making videos, i enjoyed your editing style! the diagrams and visuals were engaging but also informative so it didn't feel like overstimulating retention editing, and it seemed like your scripts followed some storytelling/yt best practices but didn't feel soulless/overly dramatic with your casual vibe. i'm working on my second channel that goes beyond obsidian and tutorials, so it'll be interesting to see what you and everyone cooks up in your cc discord channel for tutorial-focused or general vtuber content !
This information is invaluable and should definitely be shown to honestly... just about anyone. I feel like your breakdown of the algorithm, in addition to all the other concepts, really showed how much of this can be attributed to overthinking. Also, a great point about highlighting John Mavrick. Helping people think past their models and trends and into actual content is really important as after all, VTubers are just ways for us to present ourselves instead of a facecam. Thank you for this video! I'll certainly be coming back to it over my journey with creation.
Thank you🙏🏻 The points you mentioned are the parts I wanted to highlight and emphasize for new creators. At the end of the day, “good” videos will always find its way to people
This was SO helpful!! my favo points were def 7:33 having videos that people will com back to and 8:54 deciding what you are going to do and your advantages, unfair advantages is HUGE i never thought of that!
I was lost in vtubing for a long time... I didn't think about it but I should have found some inspirations/role models for my channel. Like you said, not just vtubers but also non-vtubers. Thanks for the clear, concise guide. I'm feeling positive and have a better direction for my vtubing journey.
Hello, Jay. I actually watched a few of your videos out of curiosity and honestly speaking your videos are hidden gems. I don't know anything about the topic, but your presentation and humor makes for a very fun and informative video. In my opinion, your growth is a ticking time bomb that's ready to set off since you basically checked off all the boxes. For me, your thumbnail and title is something that doesn't reflect the ingenuity that you have for your video. If you're able to figure out a way to repackage your title + thumbnail to reflect the ideas or first few seconds of the video a bit better, I think you'll have no problem even hitting 10k! That's how much fun it is watching your videos. Best of luck as a fellow cc
@JueriHaan Aw this is so sweet!!! Thank you for checking my stuff out, you didn't have to do that! I totally agree, the packaging game is something i'm trying super hard to pay attention to as we speak!! I've been really taking apart lately how i want to present a topic and how i can reflect that in the thumbs and titles (and then also make sure that's what i do in the intro). As i write this comment, I'm working on the next video thunbnail and title prior to even writing my script bullet points, so I'm really hoping it works out. I really appreciate your kind words and advice, let's keep doing our best!! 🤘🤘🤘
I actually spoke to him after this video was released and he’s a super nice guy. If you’re curious, he’s making a separate channel for his future VTuber activities since his main channel is already in a niche of its own!
It was a little tough because the A-Roll footage is not on my art like it did for the past two videos. Feel free to provide feedback and input in the disc
JUERRIIII jumpscare i was just watching this and then literally spat out my water when i got mentioned LMAOOOO thank you very much for shouting me out! chu chu chu
AAAAAAAA I really enjoy your content Isa T_T I do peek in whenever I can because you're really entertaining no matter the content. As your viewers have said, your personality really shines through in all that you do and that's super wonderful! I think it's something that a lot of VTubers can take inspiration from and be more confident with. For me, I'm a little bit different in that the stuff I do for my video side of things are in line with my love for teaching. I suppose that's why I sorta admire how fun your projects come along when you go about anything on your channel haha Thank you for the words of wisdom isaaaa
Crossing out League of Legends LMAOOO Jokes aside this was a fantastic video. Lots of really good information and it was presented really well! I've been struggling a lot with understanding what my audience wants, and the tips you provided gave me some ideas on how to tackle this. Big agree that we should be looking outside of Vtubing for inspiration!
I've been playing League for almost 10 years ㅠㅠ It's a very unfortunate "unfair advantage" I could make a channel around. Other than that, I'm always looking for new ways to present content, so feedback like this is super appreciated!
Oh no, I didn't do a rig video. My intention was to cover model separation, but also did design as a foundation into separation. I didn't intend to stay in the art tutorial too much since my goal has always been about cc in general
I'm sure this will help so many more people than the comments section lets on 😌 It's fairly obvious by now but you have a huge knack for assisting others in need and a guide like this will be a timeless educator. Thanks for the mini shoutout, it's nice to see this finally out in the wild!
@@MillenniumVT_Official That’s a good question. Streamelement is a middle man between two paypal users. 8:29 By mixing evergreen content, do you mean adding trends into the evergreen content itself (ex: evergreen content with a skibidi toilet halfway throughout the video) or posting videos of trends while having your main channel focus on evergreen content?
I'm mainly referring to posting separate trending videos or ideas to *compliment* your growing evergreen backlog. For example, since it's December, a good video I could post now would be "Get Started with VTubing in 2025" since a lot of people use January to start up something new. Another example that happened this year was when ASMR channels that usually post soothing, relaxing content posted funny meme scenarios with anti-asmr aspect ("Boyfriend Crashes Car and F@#$% Dies ASMR" or "ASMR Boyfriend calls you cute but DIES from a Meteor").Sometimes it can be hard to figure out what is trending, which is why I tend to suggest people to make evergreen videos if they're unsure since it's usually reliable. On another note, if you want to be a gaming channel focusing on game play footage, you have to make "good" videos which can be vague to some. Aside from an "entertaining" personality, a good video in this case is creating a compelling narrative or story line that makes viewers want to watch all the way through. Definitely look around and make note of how other TH-camrs with your interest make compelling videos. That in itself will help carve your understanding of your channel better as you take inspiration.
You can go about it in two ways. Either you become the forefront of your content ( you have to build the skills as an entertainer to make this work), or you can make your art the forefront of your content. Someone that comes to mind is KaptivateTV and Saruei who are/were nsfw art creators on Twitch who built their following there alongside Twitter. It helps especially if you create fan art of preexisting characters that people are already familiar with and post them
