The wait was worth it! This animatic is so POG! Also, I like the fact that the hero Techno was referring to, was him. Techno is telling a story about himself, and the way people treated him when he did something noble. Techno did a good deed, but people exciled him. Kinda like how Techno gave Pogtopia the resources, but betrayed him in the end by making a government, he trusted them and thought they wouldn't betray him like those people in the story did. Now, Tommy wants to be a hero, save his friends and whatnot. Techno says "nothing good happens to heroes", it's like he's warning him about his choice of becoming a hero. "If you want to be a hero, then DIE LIKE ONE!" that quote also reminds me that the people in the story wanted Techno dead, they wanted him dead for being a hero. So to him, in order to become a hero, you have to suffer like the way he did.

"They exiled him." Tommy was exiled. I have a bit of a itching theory that Tommy might die considering that Thesus died, but we'll see.

The way Theseus is clearly a young Technoblade being betrayed in his past really adds to the angst. He sees his young naive self in Tommy and hates it. And Philza trying to stop another one of his sons from causing massive amounts of damage is just icing on top. The body language and facial expressions convey what each character is thinking and feeling. Very well done. 10/10.

Techno (Villain??) Backstory: Techno was a potato farmer, doing what potato farmers do. Techno was a young lad, his town was in chaos by all of the creatures that swept within. On a terrible day, Techno killed one of those creatures. He felt like a hero. Then there were people who appeared behind him, their shadows covered his. He could smell fire from the torches, perhaps they were going to cook the creature for a fiest in celebration of his courage? His smile was the biggest he had on his face, but when he turned around, the others weren't the same. Spears of metal long and sharp enough to stab one through the heart. Did he do anything wrong? As Techno recalled, he didn't, but why do they look like he did? The People began to throw their spears at him and waved their torches. Techno ran as fast as he can, his hooves helping a bit. But he still wasn't too far to not get hit by one of the spears, and another one, and another one. Techno fell to the ground, The People assumed he was dead, and left them there. He wasn't dead, he was just unconscious. Then there was a man, who came because of all the fuss. His hair was of the length that stopped on his shoulders, and was the colour of the inside of a fresh banana. And then there was another man, shorter than the first, he had curly brown hair, and wore a maroon beanie. They both healed Techno, even though they do not know who he is, they still accepted him as if he is family.
techno was right. even despite everything he gave up; everything he did for l'manberg, tommy has not yet been given the happy ending that some heroes recieve. because now...exile is being considered, and so is giving something important up, as well...

And that particular song you seem to be referring to ("No Good Deed", if I'm remembering correctly), is a major turning point for Elphiba(spelling?) - especially since up until now, nearly every single time she would try to reach out to someone/something, or help someone/something, she almost always ended up as a scapegoat.
I love that Techno is foreshadowing the story... Feels like he's, the whole script- also he's always right. Bad things do come to heroes. The fact that he said heroes will died and ya know... Tommy's canon death is... 2...the max is 3 so if you die canonically 3 times, you'll be dead... Forever... Hmmm.... Also thayt expression is great!

Y'know okay, I love these animations, but specifically the "You wanna be a hero tommy?" ones. I love those so much, because the animation makes it look so gorgeous, it brings audio from a block game to life, it gives it emotion. It sets in stone the theme/purpose of the audio/character it tells us the story and the situation, it actually also tells us about the characters background a bit too. Thats the beauty of animation, and just art in general. But then theres the actual footage where the audio came from lmao

techno’s line “THEN DIE LIKE ONE!” really hit hard. it’s the final wall break where you realize everything that happened was real and that Tommy and everyone else were legally in the wrong.

Ughhh I’m so glad to have found this on my recommended. It’s such a masterpiece, and the way you portrayed the emotions, especially that of Techno’s, was so interesting. And when telling the story, the main character (who I assume is supposed to be Techno) flickers between him and Tommy was just such a good addition. Long story short, I love this with a passion.

In my opinion this jumped from an 8/10 from a fuckin 11/10 with the backstory part, and then when I thought this couldn't get any better 1:21 with the Wither sounds and Techno's shadow hit me like a fuckin truck! Great work Rosentin! Goddamn chills
Technos actually half Greek so that might be canon in the roleplay. No one knows technoblade backstory but Wilbur and Phil. It seems like tommy was to young to remember techno as a child, Wilbur says he remembers sparring with techno as a kid. When techno joins the server everyone says nice to see you again, because they actually hadn’t spoken to him but that’s besides the point. It seems like they’re continuing the whole family dynamic so, why does tommy not remember him? It makes me think that techno left when tommy was still a kid to “train” or something. Phil refers to techno as his “pig”, and says I have to stop “my other son” so it’s canon. His backstory could really add so much to his narrative, fleshing out Tommy’s relation to his brother, techno, would make tommy feeling betrayed a lot more hurtful. Wilburs dead, Tommy’s probably getting exiled, technos bent on destruction, and Phil has to cope with all of this. Not to mention his orphaned grandson. Tommy’s mad at Phil for speaking with techno and feels hurt all over again. Tommy constantly removes the blame off of Wilbur and puts it on techno. It seems like he’s in denial about what happened still. Wilbur was Tommy’s father figure, since Phil seemed to be out of the picture for awhile. When techno joined it seemed like they were a family again. I’m looking way to much into this, but agh this roleplay is so well made!
So in the story techno is telling he is Theseus, like before he fought for pogtopia that's what happened to him (cannon backstory pog?) And he sees himself in Tommy as many people of said In a way Techno is achieving his own goals, abolishing governments (maybe because of what they did to him?) And he's also trying to warn Tommy Interestingly enough Tommy is now exiled too and from yesterday's stream he's closer to going down Theseus' path, since he died by suicide and Tommy was considering jumping into lava I feel Tommy and Techno are going to team up again this arc and I'm very hyped for it

Y'know okay, I love these animations, but specifically the "You wanna be a hero tommy?" ones. I love those so much, because the animation makes it look so gorgeous, it brings audio from a block game to life, it gives it emotion. It sets in stone the theme/purpose of the audio/character it tells us the story and the situation, it actually also tells us about the characters background a bit too. Thats the beauty of animation, and just art in general. But then theres the actual footage where the audio came from lmao

Ughhh I’m so glad to have found this on my recommended. It’s such a masterpiece, and the way you portrayed the emotions, especially that of Techno’s, was so interesting. And when telling the story, the main character (who I assume is supposed to be Techno) flickers between him and Tommy was just such a good addition. Long story short, I love this with a passion.
Eventually Tommy was exiled... Technoblade knew.

In my opinion this jumped from an 8/10 from a fuckin 11/10 with the backstory part, and then when I thought this couldn't get any better 1:21 with the Wither sounds and Techno's shadow hit me like a fuckin truck! Great work Rosentin! Goddamn chills
I can not stress enough how much I love this artstyle and the creative spin you put into the scenes and visuals.
Technos actually half Greek so that might be canon in the roleplay. No one knows technoblade backstory but Wilbur and Phil. It seems like tommy was to young to remember techno as a child, Wilbur says he remembers sparring with techno as a kid. When techno joins the server everyone says nice to see you again, because they actually hadn’t spoken to him but that’s besides the point. It seems like they’re continuing the whole family dynamic so, why does tommy not remember him? It makes me think that techno left when tommy was still a kid to “train” or something. Phil refers to techno as his “pig”, and says I have to stop “my other son” so it’s canon. His backstory could really add so much to his narrative, fleshing out Tommy’s relation to his brother, techno, would make tommy feeling betrayed a lot more hurtful. Wilburs dead, Tommy’s probably getting exiled, technos bent on destruction, and Phil has to cope with all of this. Not to mention his orphaned grandson. Tommy’s mad at Phil for speaking with techno and feels hurt all over again. Tommy constantly removes the blame off of Wilbur and puts it on techno. It seems like he’s in denial about what happened still. Wilbur was Tommy’s father figure, since Phil seemed to be out of the picture for awhile. When techno joined it seemed like they were a family again.
I’m looking way to much into this, but agh this roleplay is so well made!
So in the story techno is telling he is Theseus, like before he fought for pogtopia that's what happened to him (cannon backstory pog?) And he sees himself in Tommy as many people of said
In a way Techno is achieving his own goals, abolishing governments (maybe because of what they did to him?) And he's also trying to warn Tommy
Interestingly enough Tommy is now exiled too and from yesterday's stream he's closer to going down Theseus' path, since he died by suicide and Tommy was considering jumping into lava
I feel Tommy and Techno are going to team up again this arc and I'm very hyped for it
