My reel was not working well. So I took it apart to clean it and then the anti-reverse did not work after I put it back together. Then I was dumb enough to take this apart. Your video helped me put it back together and the anti-reverse worked afterward.

Same problem with me my friends fx shimino 4000 fell in salt water river it was in water for 12hours till the low tides and got the reel washed with fresh water then reins the water dry and oppend lubricated the bearings bushing bail line roller and bail spring and the all gears ⚙️ greased and when i oppend the antireverse all springs and rollers came off so I ensembled it was not properly working then referred to your video thanks and the fx shimino reel was okay

Please reply me , the lock switch for anti reverse is not working , i actually oiled the part you are showing in video , is it due to oil or some thing else , i mean is it slipping due to oil ..

okay just did out the whole Anti Reverse assbemly in acetone for a few mintures than waited till it dry out and put the reel back together and it still silp a bit when cold so how do i fix it

I took to reel apart and didn't the Anti reverse bearing apart all i did was put the whole Anti reverse bearing in acetone for a few minutes than let it dry than put the reel the back together

Question, reel was free cause i mess with the antireverse while cleaning the reel, so this video helped me fixing it. But now the antireverse is stuck in the normal reeling position but i cannot switch to the reverse, i really don't mind cause as many others i find it unuseful. But there is a problem with that? Shall I try to reasemble the antireverse or is ok like it is now??

@@art_fishing_tv Yes, the antireverse one. Now the lever is stuck but in the "normal" position. I can't turn the antireverse so. I mean that works for me cause for practical use it's ok but shall i worry about it? It's the Shimano Fx 4000.

Keep it as it is since its stuck already you can't do anything about it unless you have a spare of same anti reverse.. Coz if you bring it to the technician and they will charge you their labor and parts just like you buy brand new.. My advise keep like that.

Yes po master.. Ganyan lng po no need oil po yan gawa ng anti reverse po yan.. Kapag nilagyan ng oil dudulas po sya. After fishing palagi lng po linis ng fresh water ung reel.. About nmn sa anti reverse pwede nyo po master check every 3 to 4 months if ok pa or need linis
