    Definitely pushing that tent which speaks volumes of Hilleberg tents in general. Loved the video.

    I was looking to see how the Yellow Label tents would hold up in winter conditions. Thanks to you, I know they'll work just fine, year-round, where I am.

    Like your honset opinion when you test/review things. Keep up the good work in the lightweight world.

    Hahaa the Ron Swanson :D Loving the way you're going with Sarek Gear, looking like no-bullshit dependable outdoor gear.

      wondering if anyone would catch that :) yes, it would have to be a pretty amazing piece of gear to even dare call it the Ron Swanson :)

      @@Backpackinglightse I suppose it would need a dedicated Lagavulin pocket

    I love the vestibule space , enough room for the pulka, I dont have that in my Marmot Thor 2 . Nice review , thanks

    Ken, at 190cm and thick quilt/pad, do you actually fit in the Anjan without the toe hitting the end??!

      I would be also interested to hear comments on this! Seeing conflicting info on how tall users can actually use it without potentially wetting the sleeping bag at the feet. I assume when using it solo it's not a problem due to being able to sleep diagonally.

    Weight isn't an issue yet you go for the anjan 2 gt instead of the nallo 2 gt or nammatj 2 gt?
    Looks like trying to force a square peg into a round hole.
    I can see people usung it for winter though if didn't want to fork out for 2 hilleberg tents.
    What would concern me in the uk though, is unexpected snow filling up the space between the outer and inner. The poles are 9 mm which is not much difference to 10mm

    can you get any hilleberg tent to try out? when weight difference is not an issue (using pulka), I think you honestly would prefer Nallo 2 GT over Anyan 2 GT. but again there must be a better winter tent for this camping. Staika has no vestibule for pulka, Jannu too small vestibule, Saivo, Tarra too big and complicated and no vestibule for pulka. Maybe Kaitum 2GT but it's huge with 4 poles to set up. In conclusion for proper winter camp with pulka I would choose Nallo 2 GT or Nammatj 2 GT.

    What about ventilation? Especially when buried in snow how is any air coming in and out?

    • @Backpackinglightse
      @Backpackinglightse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I talk about that in the video. It is not optimal with ventilation for winter use. The only real solution is to steak up the ends and keep door top open with double zip. But again, not great

      sorry.. seen now that I accidently deleted that scene from the video.

      @@Backpackinglightse of course, it’s a double zip, I forgot! Had an Anjan once but gave it away.

    vad är det för bälte du använder? skulle verkligen vilja köpa ett likadant

    Yes but the snow is blocking any airflow when you are sleeping, Not a problem? does it has O2 enough inside or something?

    Not to change the subject too much, but which stove do you use in these conditions?

    • @Backpackinglightse
      @Backpackinglightse  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      depends :) I like different kitchens.. if shorter trip than I usually bring the Optimus svea 123.. granted it's not very good when cold, but I love using it.
      But I also like the soto muka stove or soto stormbreaker.. both work really good. The MSR Whisperlite is also one I can recommend.
      Some people like Trangia or Butane stoves.. but I find both to be highly inefficient when I need to boil snow and so on. Just needs so much more fuel than using white gas.

    Du har ju använt Niak med på vintern. Vilket föredrar du?

    • @Backpackinglightse
      @Backpackinglightse  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jag föredrar anjan 2 GT. Större, stabil och riktigt skönt. Niak tycker jag att absiden är en design miss.. känns som de kunde gjort bättre där.
