Excuse me, why tent pole can’t be put in the tent bag with tent literally? Cuz of afraid of breaking the fabric of tent?

Hello. When stuffing the tent into its bag, we recommend storing the tent poles separately from the stuffed tent. This helps avoid damaging the tent fabric, when pushing the poles into the bag. You can see that at 11:26. If you choose to fold and roll the tent, then it is easier to store the poles with the tent.

Hi Hilleberg, do you have any best practise tip how to dry a tent (Anjan 3 GT) in apartment house after I used it in a rain? I face a problem that I cannot hang tent, cose the tent is too long for my room.

Hello Sergei. It can be difficult to dry large tents in small spaces and takes some creativity. Some things we do is use the shower space for hanging the tent to dry, then rotating it periodically to make sure it dries completely. I personally used to live in an apartment. I would lay out a tarp over my floor and then pitch my tent the best I could to dry while I was out running errands all day. If it was a nice day and the weather allowed, I would take my tent to close by park or common space in the apartment building, and pitch it to make sure it was completely dry. Also wipe any areas with a quick dry towel. In some situation I would bring a book while the tent dried in the sun. In small hotel rooms we have used the shower space, as well as put the poles in the tent and propped it up vertically in the corner to dry, rotating them periodically to make sure all surfaces were dry. It can take some creativity, but I hope those ideas help.

Do you have to dry the tent and clean the pegs after every night? If so, this might be a problem for bikepackers that need to be moving most of the day and might have to deal with rain that lasts for weeks. Also, is the GT big enough to store a bicycle in?

You don't have to dry it every night, we do suggest drying and cleaning at the end of your trip. I will leave a link below to a video showing how to deal with the outer tent separately for the Anjan. Regarding the bike question, it is difficult to say based on the size of the bike but generally no. A lightweight tarp is a good way to extend needed vestibule space, I will leave a link to those below as well.

@@HillebergTentmaker What if your bikepacking trip is going to last for years, how often would you recommend the tent be dried out?

    • @HillebergTentmaker

If you are on a long trip, drying it out as often as possible is a good idea. If it is packed away wet for some time, it can start to mold. But usually on a longer trip when it is up every night it gets to air out every night and the problem does not show up so fast. But as often as possible is good.

I'm so happy I got an Anjan 2 (non GT) that has the better door design. I don't like this design. Bad decision, IMHO.

The tent names can be hard to pronounce and understand, but “Anjan” is actually the name of a lake in northern Sweden.

@@HillebergTentmaker Very nice tent! I'd like to get one in a near future! :) I visited Stockholm 2 months ago and had a julbord at Ikea! Next time, I would like to go on the countryside!
