- Returned to the Northern fells to do another wild camp with two friends. On the way we decided to camp at Little Sca Fell with its lovely views of Scotland and Isle of Man. Then the weather with strong winds. Then Anjan 2 goes through a storm test. Watch and see what happens.
Ear plugs would have been a good idea on this Wild Camp.The noise was very loud. But to be honest I still enjoyed the camp. If you want to see more Subscribe 👍.

Hello Mark. I had no choice, after 00.30 am the wind kept waking me up 🤣. At 04.30AM I was getting worried 😬. But it was still a great camp and exciting 🤣. Thanks Mark.

Awesome again Steve. How are you getting on with the Anjan 2 as I've just received mine in the post . Its my second Hilleberg as I wanted a more spacious tent to my Soulo. I chose the sand colour as everyone seems to be getting green.That looked a bit iffy during the night with that wind but glad you and Max had a good time. How the hell did you manage to tag along with the king of the northern hills Mr Wardle himself... jeez Steve mun you never cease to amaze me lol. Hello my friend. The Anjan 2 as you have seen is a very strong light weight 3 season tent and pleased with the space. That camp was wild but exciting lol. My tent just survived 40 mph winds in a crazy thunderstorm a few days ago. But when it's cold outside that wind is a whole other thing. Beautiful views from your tent site. I’m sure Anjan 2 was strong enough to survive but there are better tents to stay in in comfort in this exposed hill top. You want no stress good nights sleep. Good test I was looking forward. Delta pegs & Alpkit Spike 22cm pegs saved the day (night). I bet BL soulo was nice , quiet and peaceful inside, it just didn’t move even during wind gusts. I have Anjan2 I am saving it for my big multiday hiking trip. I tried it for kayaking but like my Staika better. Although Anjan 2 is 1.8 kg. Thanks for sharing.

Blimey Steve that wind picked up a bit there! Respect to you, I'd be in as much as a flap that the tent was :))) thought you were going to get blown away at one point! Just goes to show the quality of the tents you are using.....and the fortitude of those that were using them. Good video...how you managed to film in those conditions I don't know! Great video Steve which ground pegs did you use looking forward to your next outing you look as though you have a good laugh .

Nice one Steve , was it windy lol . I carry my headphones and play music when its really wild and it drowns out the wind noise. Still it was a good test for tent which held out. atb Dave

Double pole it if in any doubt, use 10mm poles if paranoid. You can also add extra guylines.
Bought mine on monday,i dont think the scarp 1 would survive that,thats why i sold it, cheers

That was fantastic mate! I've never looked at the Anjan really and whilst it was a bit flappy it never looked in danger! How did it feel inside, we're you always confident? I think you buy a Hilleberg trusting the brand and it looked awesome!

Never owned Hilleberg, is it case yellow will suffice most British weather unless extremely snow?

Hi there Steve, can I ask is the Anjan difficult to pack into your bag? I have a 45L pack and I wonder how small the tent packs down to and if it’s any issue. Cheers and thanks for the video!
Hello. I personally like the Anjan 2. It packs small and is 1.8kg. I have had it on the outside of my kestrel 38L pack and it will fit inside a 48L pack with the poles down the out side of the pack. It's a lovely light weight tent. Thanks for watching and commenting. Atb Steve 👍
The Anjan 3 is 1.9kg but offers more space. If you think about buying it, take the castle, not the hut.

@@kobold90 You will need moe space to pitch it, pobably be less stable than than anjan 2 aswell due to bigger size. Had a tarra, a palace in the hills, but you needed a huge amount of space to pitch it.
