Love the gold wings, I own a 1986 interstate model, the Honda Gold Wing is the highest quantity motorcycle ever manufactured in the history of motorcycle manufacturing.
The GW is a joy to shift. DCT is useful, but nothing like the traditional sport riding experience you get with that six-speed.
l purchased a 2023 manual shift last year , I agree with you. I would never buy an automatic motorcycle, that just makes no sense to me!!!👍🏾

I love my 2018 DCT tour which by the way has a 7th gear for highway riding. You can switch to manual mode and when running in sport mode I can run thru the Twisties with the best of them. I just got my Russell Day Long saddle built for me yesterday and it is a game changer. Cheers brother... That is a beautiful bike.
You can also buy the foot lever kit too if you like that feeling 👍🏻

Great looking bike. I’ve owned five Goldwings. 2103 F6B, 2016 Goldwing, 2018 Goldwing Bagger 6 speed, 2018 Goldwing Tour DCT and a 2020 Goldwing Tour DCT Airbag. No have a 2022 BMW k1600 GT. You can never go wrong with a Goldwing. Legendary bikes. Enjoy.

That's beautiful I think the red trim makes it. I ride the blue 22 dct. Best of luck with it my friend.
I really like the blue as well. Wish the 2024 came in blue; I would have chosen that one. However, this Pearl White is really nice. Ride safe.
if you had to choice and do mostly 2 up riding and want some speed and handling but most importantly really good comfort which bike would be the best choice
Where did buy this Gold wing? Did you pay list price ?

@@davidedwards5773 , that's a great question. When I'm on the Honda Gold Wing, I enjoy the smooth flickable ride. When I'm on the Harley, I enjoy the sound of the Harley engine and the visceral feel. Can't really say I prefer one over the other. I guess I prefer the one that I'm riding at the time. 🙂

Hello Bruce, I prefer the manual clutch for slow ride control. I'm used to feathering the clutch to maintain balance during slow maneuvers. Again, just my preference and comfort. You still get all of the riding modes; Eco, Tour, Sport and Rain. I briefly tested Sport mode today. What a blast. Thanks for your comment. Ride safe.

I was hoping to hear why you went from a DCT to a 6 manual. I owned a 19 Tour DCT for 2.5 years along with an Ultra Limited. The DCT was cool, but ultimately sold both bikes and went back to a Road Glide Limited. Nothing beats the smoothness of the newer Goldwing, except maybe a K1600. If I did it again, I would not want the mechanical complexity of the DCT.
I prefer the manual transmission. More control for me during slow maneuver.🏍️
The Goldwing is more comfortable to ride than the K1600

How would you compare it to your road glide?
The Honda Gold Wing is a very smooth ride; suspension is second to none. It's like riding on a cloud. Gold Wing has hydraulic clutch (light pull). The Road Glide is smooth as well; great to kick you feet up on the highway pegs for the long rides. Wish HD would have kept the hydraulic clutch; it's a heavy pull at time and gets out of adjustment. I really like them both for what they are. Thanks for your comment. Ride safe.
@@ridingwithralph3491 Thank you. Thinking of a Gulin with DCT as a few years ago I got caught in traffic in Seattle and believe it or not my left hand started to fail me. The DCT must be also in bumper-to-bumper traffic jam.
So what have they significanly improved to 2023 to justfy the price rise.? Nothing.

So I also have a 22 k 1600gtl. I also would like to add a gold wing dct to my collection. The question is how do you like the BMW in regards of the new model gold wing? Do you have any regrets. Or do you own both. I don’t want to get rid of the GTL for the wing. The BMW has 99% of the bike I want. The garbage radio sound robbed the bike from being 💯 in my opinion. Other than that I love it.
I still have the BMW R1250 GS. No regrets. Some of the fellas I ride with still own sport bikes only. So, I will ride the BMW when out with them. I've been using my comm system to listen to music, directions and take phone calls while on the BMW. Ride safe.
