excellent tips...I have been cooking for more than 20 years...but tips are always useful:) also, each time we take rice out, we make sure the measuring cup is placed upright in the rice container and we say 'akshayam' while taking rice out of the bin....just a family practice to thank God for the food and to keep it full..:) love Sanathana Dharmam practices:)

Today I made dosa. It came out so tasty and s-o-f-t, ohh my husband enjoyed it very much. I made dosa, idli, uttapam earlier also but didn't taste like this. In this proportion of rice and dal it became a super delicious breakfast. My heartiest thanks❤🌹🙏

Very important info. I love to eat idli & dosa & always wanted to make them perfectly. Thank you so much for very clear instructions. Had watched your earlier idli and dosa making videos also, but this is the best presentation for a beginner as you mentioned already. How to be thankful to you, I have no words dear Ms. Gita. Lots of love to you for teaching us this way!
If possible I want to make a request from you, please teach how to use the pressure cooker for a beginner. I had mentioned to you long before I started using the pressure cooker after watching your videos, but still I feel fear of how to put the right amount of water when using the pressure cooker, such as the amount of water that I have to put to the pressure cooker when using the set of pressure cooking pans together at once with the rice in one & dal in another, etc. Also, how to determine the water amount correctly to the cook the rice or dal. Thanking you once again!

I have a question ....what is the difference between idli rice & boiled rice? Are they same? Also can you please tell me what should be the quantity of water in idli cooker? For me usually I leave the last idly tray empty as the water in the cooker comes upto this tray when cooking 🙏
