Follow the steps below to Fix Xbox One TV Sound Not Working:
1. Press the Xbox One button on your controller to open the menu. In the menu scroll right and select System.
2. Once in System, select Settings
3. In the Settings under the General section, select Volume & audio output.
4. Under the Speaker Audio, ensure sure you have the correct audio output options select for your setup.
- TV connected to Xbox One via HDMI without optical audio cable: Under HDMI audio select Stereo uncompressed
- TV connected to Xbox One via HDMI with optical audio cable: Under Optical audio select Stereo uncompressed.
5. Close the Xbox One settings and then see if this has fixed your audio issues.
Follow the steps below to Fix Xbox One Headset Sound Not Working:
1. Press the Xbox One button on your controller to open the menu.
2. Scroll down and select the audio icon in the bottom right.
3. If the options are greyed out ensure you clean out the headset plug on your Xbox one controller.
4. Plug the controller back in and see if that works.
5. You can now turn on the headset mic, change the volume, chat mix, and mic monitoring.

I can’t hear the mics on my clips
For some reason my party chat has been coming out of my tv when it’s on headset only and they can hear me talk in the party but I can only hear them through the tv and when I switch it to headset and speakers than I can hear them through the headset but I need to know how to just hear the party through the headset..

Thank you for your help, I've tried all sorts of ways to get sound coming out of my headphones for Xbox one and nothing worked, i tried this and i can finally play games and listen to them without disturbing background noises around the house.

Yah mines won’t work either and I have the Xbox series S controller. The audio just won’t work but the mic works. Idk what’s wrong

i have two controllers and my head set only works on one if i put my head set in and go xbox accessories 3 dots i cant select volume PLZ HELP even when i update still does not work
When you update the controller will that help make it not randomly turn off to? I just got a new xbox and new controller it keeps randomly turning off by its self I checked the batteries they are fully charged

I recently bought an Astro 10 gen 2 headset for Xbox one and when I have the mic flipped up (muted) I hear this annoying dial tone sound, when I unmute it goes away, but I can’t tell if my teammates can hear me or not, also when I’m playin apex legends I can’t hear game dialogue and when I have mic monitoring in the middle the annoying sound goes away but comes back when mic monitoring is switched all the way up and when I have headset chat mixer in the middle I can barely hear other players. Old video not sure if you will see this but had question because you seem like you know what your doing, and I wanted to ask about a frequent glitch with my console where my audio goes out in my head set and I have to unplug and plug it back in, and I have to continually do this, then eventually after about 10-15 times of that, the audio doesn’t come back, my controller stays on, and doesn’t start blinking but is unresponsive, then after about 30, my Xbox completely turns off, have to unplug and plug back in, which takes about 5-10 times because I believe there is also a power ishue because it makes a very odd noise then doesn’t respond to me turning it on, and makes a completely different noice before it does work. Just wondering if you had any answers because it’s been happening for the last 2 weeks and haven’t seen anything about it happening to other peiple

I have two controllers
One: my headset works perfectly mic and audio
Two: My friends can barely hear me when I talk and my audio is faint

I tried this and i still have no sound coming through my tv now my headset is fine i got sound coming through that but not my tv and everything is set to default for for volume & audio output. I just don't know what to do anymore. When i feel like doing the single player i like to not use my headset but now i have no sound coming through my tv at all and this morning i got on and i had sound now i have no sound and it's pissing me off.
