It is exciting and refreshing to see/hear collectors I respect having 2’s,3’s,4’s in their collection! We often hear of the 9’s and 10’s but often of the mid grade cards that are just as beautiful. Thanks for posting! #KeepChasing
Hi Mike, I must compliment you on your collection. You have some wonderful cards and I admire your ‘targets’ to collect. Your Sandy Koufax RC makes me extremely happy just to see it in your collection. You should be very proud. Have a relaxing evening, Peter
This is only the second "end of the year" video I've watched from u and WOW!! Your collection is freaking amazing! I hope to be at your level one day! Great video cheers from Florida
What an amazing collection! That is a museum-quality collection of Americana right there. I have exactly one of those cards (56 Williams), though not nearly as nice as yours. Thanks for sharing ~Allon
To me cards going down is a good thing - unlikely I will ever have more cards than I still want/need so bring on lower prices. Wow that ‘54 Williams SP is incredible! Love the color on both your ‘54 Red Heart and ‘48 Leaf Musial. Your Campy rookie is much better than a 6. That Gehrig/Ruth card is so cool. Added a Wilson Franks Campy after seeing yours last year. Thanks for sharing - this video is always fun to watch.
Awesome video Mike! The Top Cards in My Collection videos are my favorite to watch. I agree, ranking them on price is the most quantitative way to do it. Awesome collection, my friend! Congrats on picking up the 52 Mays and T206 Young! Both are beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing!
Nice group of cards Mike, thanks for sharing. I will have my too 50 cards video done soon so be on the lookout for it, lots of new stuff from last years list.
Can’t believe the Mantle and Jackie cards are down…I didn’t even know that was possible! Sheesh! If I were you I would be including your autos too. Where would the babe Ruth auto fall in the list?!! I need to see that!
Great Top 50 list Mike! Some great cards! Definitely did not take it to be a flex video. I'll be posting my Top 50 soon and mine are definitely NOT flex-worthy. LOL
Great Video Mike. Love the breadth of your collection. All eras & players represented. Enjoyed the decision w/ each card. Well presented. 👍 Was surprised to not see a 1968, 1969, or 1971 Nolan Ryan on your top 50 list. Have a nice weekend
Quite a collection! So many amazing cards there for sure. Love the ‘51 Mantle 🤩. I picked up the ‘56 Robinson recently. One of the coolest cards I never thought I’d have in the collection.
Love the video each year. I think the best part is being able to hear the excitement and joy you convey while talking about them. Plus I get to see cards that I might aspire to get one day. Thank you for sharing Mike.
Thanks for sharing these, Mike. I think this is the third year I've watched your Top 50 video, and as much as I enjoy seeing your fantastic cards, I see this video as kind of a service to the card community. This is a great hobby barometer, both currently and vs. a year ago. Really interesting, and really helpful. But man, those cards...!
Wow. Love your collection and the '51 Bowman Mays and Mantle are amazing! I know the '52 topps is "the Mantle card" but I am probably more of a fan of the '51 Bowman. How long have you had that beauty in your collection?
Heritage is my favorite product so I had to get that 2012 Harper in a PSA 10. I still need his auto from that set so I see these come up in my saved searches and people ask for the moon and the stars for them. My other favorite rookie of his is the Archives, but the PSA 10 auto, which I have, sells for less than the PSA 10 non auto, which I don't have. Some pretty strange pricing histories on them.
Mike, so awesome to see your 2023 Edition of your Top 50! I am honored to be your clubby on some of the glorious cards that made the cut! Just to mention one of the plethora of epic cards in this video, I love your 1938 Goudey Bob Feller! 🤯🤯🤯
Sick collection! I consolidated my collection. I only own 2 cards now. 79 opc psa 8 Gretzky and an 86 fleer psa 8 Jordan. I’ll sell them on my 80th birthday lol
ALWAYS my favorite video of the year. Obviously this list is consists of all fantastic cards but I’m partial to the gem mint Bryce at number 6! Go Phils 👍 I hope you and your family have a happy and healthy holiday season!!!
@@BaseballCollector ... Hmm, well the easy answer is because I can only watch so many pack rips before my eyes begin to bleed. I think the biggest reason I love these types of vids is the same reason why I enjoy card show footage or scrolling through eBay… to see great cards and ideas of what should be on my radar for my ‘next big investment’. As collectors, I think we all think about the potential value & growth of our hobby dollar & time. Also as an added bonus, these types of videos provide an insight as to what and how fellow hobbyists collect- which I always find interesting (whether high end or low end cards). Keep up the great work on all your uploads!
What a flex Mike 🤪 Haha in all seriousness, enjoyed the video! I always like seeing if I have any cards in common with other people’s top 50. I had a few of yours, so that’s fun! Now, down the prewar rabbit hole!! 😂
Thanks for sharing! Love watching collectors appreciate their cards. Regarding values and up or down, tons of cards were flat from 2009-2019. Does VCP provide graphs of sale prices over a 5 or 10 year period?
I almost didn't watch thinking that your 50th best card would be way better than my best, so I was kind of surprised at your list. Not to be demeaning, but it made me feel a little better about my cards. Still jealous of a few, although it was nice to see that 3s and 4s are perfectly acceptable and something to be proud of. A 60-70 year old card should look like a 60-70 year old card, in my humble opinion. Enjoyed this vid, Mike.
I like these videos but I think yr favorite cards would be more intresting to me at least lol......like my favorite carf in my collection is a Juan Gonzalez donruss elite! Notbwirth to much to most but I love it lol
@@BaseballCollectorI meant a Favorite Fifty. I have faith you could out together a creative post w all kinds of criteria that makes a card a favorite. Strangely enough, grade and condition have little to do with anything when I’m devising Top ___ lists.
Great top 50 Mike! Definitely always look forward to these top card countdown videos. Do you have any particular cards that you are targeting for next year?
The Harper SP is a stealthy valuable card. He is one strong healthy season away from being close to a HOF lock. Counting stats should be nice - still 9-10 years left on that contract even with his decline years.
@@BaseballCollector I'm sure! I'm saving up for the national to find some key cards. But luckily I have the Strongsville show before. Sometimes you can find better deals

Always love these to 50, top 25, top 10 videos as it’s fascinating to see what someone collects. I have to say I’m surprised at how many of your vintage cards went down this year. These are iconic vintage cards. I collect mostly 80’s/90’s so I don’t follow vintage prices except from channels like Mid Life Sports who do daily deep dives. I hear from the vintage channels all of the time the ‘vintage is safe’ in this hobby. I think this video show that nothing is safe in this hobby as even lower pop vintage cards are vulnerable to a correction. Obviously ultra modern cards have fallen off a cliff, but I’m surprised at how many of your big cards went down this year.
Why would you EVER put your ASSETS on the internet, just for some stranger's "likes"??? You didn't "pull these out of the safety deposit box for the video," you have them PROBABLY DISPLAYED in your HOUSE... where your FAMILY lives!!! Would you put your BANKING information out like this???

Great view Mike, I enjoy watching this every year your collection is awesome. let's play two cc.

Always have loved your list Mike. Your cards are gorgeous...as always.
Thanks so much!
Great stuff, Mike!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Thanks George. I want to see your Top 50 video!!
Great video mike. Love the red heart musial and all the mantles.
Thanks Ray. Don't you have that card?
no not yet. hope to soon@@BaseballCollector

Great video bud - gives me some nice ideas of cards to strive for and have on my top tier list.
Love the Gehrig's! 1934 is my grail card. Very nice list.
Thanks Kevin. Now I need to go get the yellow 1934.
Amazing collection, love the WaJo portrait :D
Don

So you are going to finally buy one? Or wait?
That 51 Mantle is 🔥🔥

Same for me Mike. There is no common sense reason any Harper card should be worth more than Mantle, Mays, Aaron, Clemente, etc.

💯 on the Trout. Picked one up last month. Had been waiting to get it under $1k
