Great job, you are right, the most important thing is to know what you are doing. If I remember correctly, the maximum “demonstrated” crosswind landing for a Cessna 172 is 15 knots. But the number doesn't matter. It is "Demonstrated” because it represents the maximum crosswind component that engineers consider adaptable for an experienced pilot, and during certification flights, a test pilot must "prove" that he can make a safe landing. It is NOT the highest crosswind they have successfully landed in during the certification flight. However, in the A321 aircraft that I flew in the video, the maximum crosswind for landing depends on several aspects: runway conditions, low visibility operation and engine failure conditions or abnormal conditions. In normal operation, with Rwy Dry, not in LVO, the maximum crosswind component is 38 it (gusts included). Thanks for your comment.

Wenn ich das im Video richtig gesehen habe, drehen Sie die Maschine in den Wind und fliegen somit leicht quer zur Bahn? Das macht man nach Gefühl oder muss man das errechnen? Wann kommt dann wie das Seitenruder zum Einsatz? Könnten Sie mir da netterweise irgendwelche Tipps geben, oder hilft da nur üben? Wäre echt toll, wenn mir ein echter Pilot da helfen könnte… 😅 Ach ja: Ist das Anflugverfahren bei jedem Flugzeugtyp prinzipiell gleich oder gibt es da Unterschiede? Also man kann wohl ne Cessna nicht wirklich mit einem Airbus vergleichen, Oder gibt es da- bis auf die Massenträgheit Parallelen? Wäre nett, wenn Sie da helfen könnten 🙈
@@Campingfan1Also damit man geradeaus zur bahn fliegt, muss die Nase des Flugzeugs in richtung Wind zeigen. Im letzten moment dreht man das Flugzeug in richtung Landebahn. Da ist viel Seitenruder im Einsatz. Das Prinzip ist eigentlich bei jedem Flugzeug gleich, aber es gibt auch Flugzeuge mit besonderem Fahrwerk, dass sich rotieren kann. Ich bin jetzt kein echter Pilot, aber das sind meine Erfahrungen aus dem Flugsimulator.
