Basic stability matters so much. I’ve never been homeless, but I’ve known someone with many things similar to me and basically just one thing different that led to them being homeless. It made it easier for me to see how easily it could be me, any of us. How we’re all just people, and also how being homeless itself worsens everything, makes absolutely everything harder. I’m glad you were able to get into a tiny house, and I wish you a continued upward trajectory. ❤ I hope things get better, for everyone.
What a fkn inspiration, homeless at fourteen, abused all throughout childhood and still going strong. Your a beautiful person with a beautiful life ahead of you, wishing you all the good things. Congrats on the kitten :)
Bri, you can and will do this. Take the opportunity now to get going in school if that's what you want to do. You are an incredibly strong woman! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
For anyone who dreams of coming to America in particular Seattle. I want you to pump your brakes and think about this. She worked 2 part-time jobs went to school and was still homeless!!!! You know why? Because it cost too much to live here. Just to survive in Seattle you have to make a minimum of $79,000 a year and that's still not leaving you with enough money to take a vacation plan properly for retirement go out to eat and have a gym membership That's just getting by buying groceries paying your insurance paying your rent $79,000 I don't know what else could be more insane than that!! Add on the taxes that are insane. They have the most regressive taxes in the country. Now they want to try to do a state income tax. Promising that they'll take the other taxes away. 😂😂 I'm angry that Seattle spent $1.5 million on tiny homes that people didn't get put into!!; The reason why she finally got put into a tiny home was because the media and other groups were asking the group who was making these tiny homes when are you going to put people in them??? Then they wanted to fight about that. The problem in Seattle is we have a lot of people getting rich off of not solving the problem they don't want to solve the problem because they don't want to be out of a job. Until we have affordable housing for all and a safety net. This could be you!!! This is the face of a lot of women in their '60s who were stay-at-home moms. It's people who are disabled and they didn't get disability or their disability was taken from them. It's people who have substance use disorders and some serious psychiatric issues. You see our governor Jay. Who's on his way out. 🙏🏼 He lost accreditation for both state run psychiatric lockdown facilities. So Seattle's a mess!! In other words think about it and choose wisely. Move somewhere else. Most of us are trying to get out of this hell hole!! Not move into it.
What a brilliant, intelligent, well spoken woman! And brave and strong.
You are so resilient and brave. Keep on keeping on and speaking up 💕❤️💕

Some homeless are criminals and harmful
And some regular people are criminals too
Okay?
Many housed folks are criminals and harmful too.
Has she been on drugs?
That seems illegal
