The most dangerous time for a woman in an abusive relationship is when she tries to leave.
I can fully agree with this. I had to have my grandmother completely distract my ex so I could leave the house silently, I was lucky my father spent $100 on a damn Lyft to get me out of there.

Sadly, not even a protective order will protect her from this guy. Even if he ends up in jail, he will be released one day. My ex is similar, 30 years minimum he’ll be in jail and I’m still terrified of the day he’ll be released.
This is a prime example why some women dont leave, because this is the type of guy who will stop at nothing, not a court order, not an arrest. His goal is to have her or kill her. God Bless this young lady and all women going through this.

His words feel hallow, like he doesn't truly believe all the things he's saying, he must be in a situation where knows there's no excuse for what he did, so I would guess his logic might be that he might as well play his part in being the monster because that's easier for him to digest, especially being filmed on live camera. That's my theory.
I get that his childhood must've been bad since he doesn't want people to leave him to the point of hurting them and abusing them, but that's the mother of his children and his mental state is probably not in the right place, those kids aren't safe around him and he could've gotten therapy to fix that but he choose this path. The thing is, I always find stuff like this sad because in another world, these children could've had their mother and their father.

I've been in a relationship similar to this...I got tired of fighting.... so I called the cops.... he's done jail time a couple times....he would get out and return....he stopped the physical...then went to verbal....then decide to run woman and says it's over.... but still wants to come back and forth.... there gonna be time he comes and there gonna be someone else there.... everyone gets tired of the same thing over and over.... @@Tyrosine0910 Ah-ha! I was hoping someone would ask me that. On TH-cam, there is a video called "The Steve Wilkos Show 2020 Can This Abuser Change part 3." In the comment section under the comment, "Is there an update episode? I would love to know if she left him forever," you would've read this. It's from someone who knows her personally and it's a bit long. "The last time we were together 3 weeks ago, she was radiant, we were talking and laughing, taking care of our little ones, hers have grown up quite a bit but her kids are amazing.
At some point, she had a huge smile on her face and was grabbing my arm to be close to each other which was indicating - in young women/ middle aged and old ladies and I know for fact men of all ages have codes of their own - "I have to tell you a secret right now it's, it's too good, I have to tell you it all !!! " and went straight to the kitchen to get the a big envelope her attorney dropped to her in the morning if I remember correctly, let's say in the day.
In it was the full report of the immediate arrest and Court hearing (to have a Court hearing late at night, you have caused some serious damages to one or a few persons with intention to harm or harm already done) as he was arrested while he had destroyed the outdoor fence as well as the garage door and was not even stopping to kick in the back door which was not too far from breaking
He got a pair of fancy bracelets when it happened 2 nights prior to her attorney dropping the full report to her so she can be aware of the situation he's facing this time for violation of his last Court restriction order (which he kept violating) to stay away from both Michelle and her children by trying the good old "breaking and entering" , this alone for the 5th time since the distance between this piece of sh*t and Michelle had been reeavaluated by the Judge in charge of this case who tripled the distance between him and them.
This time, while this sorry a** was trying to talk over the Judge - which is always a great idea and time to do so, keep going jEfF 👏 - talking a bit too loud how unfair the Judge is with him since the very beginning and should be ashamed to separate a family, his own family and the extra trick turning against him in a split second "I have voicemails from Michelle and from MY kids (note the MY KIDS and not simply our kids/our children) crying on the phone, begging me to come back to MY home (here again MY HOME) but you don't give a sh*t, you don't want to listen to me and you don't want to listen to Michelle calling me multiple times a day and she's always begging me to come back.
To this, the Judge replied back to him "Sir, you never gave us a phone number for us to be able to contact you and according to your bank account, you do not have any phone plan either.
We will have a unit coming to your place and search thoughrouly the burners in your own possession, know that you will not leave the Court without a full, a complete search of a burner on and in you whether or not you agree to it for it is illegal, especially in your case.
You can talk over me, you can scream at me, you have all the rights to mad, all this anger is on you and your inability to respect the simple directives given to you at the very beginning of the investigation on you as well as the plan we made to keep the mother of your children and them ,all of them safe from you.
You have been incarcerated 7 times since we have been in full charge of this case, this chaos you and only you created and yet here you are again, in front of me for terrorizing the mother of your children whom you "love so much".
You are not fooling anyone, you have no love for her, you do not even know what love is because if you did, you would not be here right now AGAIN, you would have never been in a Court House which is now a habit for you and you have along the weeks, months, years, multiple different charges piling up more and more as time goes by
In conclusion of your actions today, you are not going back to your place and the correction facility our guards are escorting you to will house again for another time sentence I will find necessary for you by tomorrow morning.
As for Michelle and her children, contrary to your claim that I am dividing your family, in 27 years as a Judge, I never ever separated a parent from their spouse and children without any evidence of the danger, violence in every way possible these ones were victims of on a daily routine.
My job is to make sure I make the right decisions and most of all, to know I have done the best to keep the victims safe and sound, not having to be afraid to get back to the monster, the abusive controlling violent and threatening person whom they thought was here to love, cherish, protect them and so much more.
I didn't come to Michelle nor did her attorneys, she came to us.
She ran to us after you humiliated her on National TV, escorted to us by half a dozen of security guards of this show along with 2 police patrol cars.
My plan for her and her children is to move them for the 2nd time by request from the Court, your lawyers are agreeing with me on this point so you can never have a single opportunity to threaten, terrorize, harm, traumatize and hurt each and all of them.
Hopefully, this will help you as well so we will never have to take these great measures to protect them from and to put you in and out of prison on a regular basis.
This is terribly sad and you are the one and only responsible for all this sadness.
I hope this new sentence in prison will get to you, open your eyes on how far you went this time knowing you were harmed with deadly weapons you have no license for.
You are still a young man, I think you - with some work on yourself and guidance in your life by some of the most professionally productive and creative counselors of the whole Country - will have a new perspective of a new life, a clean fresh start of your life.
Although, in the meantime, you are placed in prison.
I will tell and explain to you the length of your incarceration to which one you will have a certain amount of probation as you have done nothing but keeping re - offending -- the very same persons over and over and over again during every part of the years you were out and free, only one very simple clause to your freedom : do not do anything to turn your probation into a new prison sentence which you keep doing.
I leave you on these words for tonight and I will be here with you tomorrow first time in the morning to announce you your prison sentence which will begin tomorrow as you are currently under arrest.
He took 7 to 12 years in prison this time which made Michelle very happy and beyond relieved.

Umm I hope they give her security at the hotel and on her way home and then find support where she lives to help her move because that dude is gonna kill her if they don’t. The most fatal time for domestic abuse victims is after they leave their abuser. I really hope Steve’s team recognises that and make sure that her and her kids are safe.
She got legal help after the show and because of it, they sentenced him to a lot of years in prison.

There's updates for other videos but the ones I saw it for was the death threats and possible murder charges and the more serious stuff than boyfriend abusing his girlfriend. Not that it isn't serious because that is but there's a lot worse things out there that they'd rather follow up on first.
Great suggestion, was thinking the same thing. It's obviously textbook for abusers to stalk their battered ex-partners afterwards, and also very often the abused return to their abuser.

I've been with men like this. It got to the point where I started fighting back to defend myself. No matter how hard the abuse was I was deliverer, I ran and kept running.
I was drugged, raped and beaten by someone I trusted and loved.. that faded... I fought back and had enough support to get away from him. Since then... I have changed my life ten fold... I'm now a community support worker and a home care nurse, caring for those who need help and support.
Good for her for walking away. And kudos to Steve for helping this girl !
