loved your guys reactions! Hope you eventually come back and finish this series out! It's hands down one of the three or four greatest tv shows ever made, and the last season i just brilliant!
To be fair Hornigold said to Dufresne he didn't care if they accepted the pardons or not. It's very likely he would have just killed them when they got close to surrender. Flint may very well have saved their lives there. And when he cut the rope, it was either those men on the mast died or the whole ship would go under. Flint thinks several steps ahead while Silver thinks more about here and now. Both have advantages and disadvantages. Silver may be more liked but that won't save your life in the end.
The end of this episode still gives me chills. After the storm they are now stuck in a weather pattern known as The Doldrums, sometimes referred to as The Calms. The Doldrums is weirdly more frightening then the storm itself, essentially it's like being stuck in the middle of a desert. The difference is, as slim your chances may be, there is always a small possibility that you may be able to hike out of a desert. In the Doldrums your completely fucked, with no way out.
Dreamghost Miranda is mouthing what she said to Flint on the beach, just before convincing him that he needed to stand his crew down from attacking the fort in order to rescue and deliver Abigail Ashe to her father.
Great reaction! Excited for the next one. Yeah that scene with the 500 missing pieces is hilarious. They better be careful they dont have too many crewmen like that who they owe money to…or soon they may have no gold at all lol!
The Eleanor and Vane relationship is like High School love. Remember she was still a teenager when her father left her there with Mr Scott. They probably did have a connection but it's obvious Eleanor Outgrew Vane, much like many young relationships. We see him try and gain power, in a way to try and impress her which is again what a lot of males tend to do but it's clear they just weren't a good match anymore and the relationship became toxic.
That’s a great POV. And what’s great about having well-written, complex characters I say Vane’s an ambitious pirate. Who’s to say he wasn’t going to ditch Teach and do his own thing? At some point anyway. Pirate’s gonna pirate. I don’t think she outgrew Charles at all. If anything Charles outgrew her and her betrayals, killed her father, and went back to pirating. No more or less than she flirting with Woodes-Rodgers and British civilization. Ah, young love ❤🏴☠!
The storm sequences are so good. RIP to poor Mr. Muldoon. While Teach/Blackbeard is being old school, he's not wrong. There is a complacency in Nassau now. Most of the newcomers are weak at heart, just chasing a get rich quick idea. They will fold like cheap suits the second things get rough.
that's what happened with the Forte repair. They didn't feel like they had to work towards anything so why bother. I think Flint touched on it I think in season 1 with Billy on the subject of lying to the men for their own good. This guys who threw away 500 pieces is exactly what he was talking about. Without any certainty or purpose they're kinda useless. Leadership is more than just being liked or doing what's agreeable. The series does a far better job explaining that so looking forward to their reaction to that.
hey guys really hope you can find time to come back yous were honestly the best reactions really think yous should upload frequenly only a matter of time before chanel blows up. I recommended the last kingdom theres not much reactions to the show but has a big fan base think yous would really enojoy it 💗

The all black creature at the beginning of the season was Death. I assume Flint is seeing that creature.
Great reaction! Excited for the next one.
