Another great class. It aligns so closely with a lot of other work I’ve been doing recently. Thank you so much for sharing your practice, words, reminders, and knowledge with us all.
You could also call this series Trauma release. It is excellent especially for sexual trauma. I felt actually happiness in my hips for the first time in my life. It is amazing and I am doing this series for the second time only.
That was one of the most nourishing and freeing practices I've ever done, thank you so much!🤩😍🙏🙏 And also the contribution of the bird song, particularly during the shavasana was beautiful.
Thank you so much, another lovely practice. Ive been doing yoga, most days, for 6 years now and have always struggled with pidgin (?) pose, your explanation of being centred really helped, Ive always wondered which side I should be favouring 😂 I could really feel the energy and expansion in my hips and pelvic area. 🙏❤
Wow Karen! I'm so grateful to have been able to provide you some new knowledge, even after 6 years of practices 🥰 Thank you for sharing! I'm really glad you're feeling the expansive energy!
Such a beautiful, gentle class. I loved all the cueing as it kept me really connected to what I felt in my body. Really enjoy your fun, gentle, and playful energy. Thank you for sharing ☺️, so so much gratitude and blessings to you for sharing your gift and your light 🕯️🕯️🕯️❤
the hip opener is quite challenging. I love and hate it at the same time. It creates restlessness in me, but then after the exercise I feel very mellow, very relaxed. Thank you Andrew. I feel doing your exercises makes me more soft towards myself
That's amazing Erika! This is exactly what I want you to receive through these teachings! Both the ability to witness when there is resistance or challenges, and the ability to become more soft, loving and accepting of your Self 💗 Keep up the great work dear!
@@RefeelYoga Thank you Andrew for your great work, I can feel very much that this is your goal in your teachings, it comes across very clearly; also thank you for answering in such a personal way every time, I appreciate that a lot.
Hi Andrew, this was a wonderful practice ❤I am not sure of the words to bet describe how the joints and body felt, but it was amazing, calming, and awesome 😊 Thank you so much 🙏🤗 p.s. the birds signing in the background was so nice too!
This felt really beneficial and also a bit challenging. I see a great potential for development. After shavasana I felt somewhat nauseus, perhaps a sign of detoxification. And I love the forest and sounds of the birds in the background! I got a bit curious about where this lovely place is located? Thank you Andrew and lots of love! ❤🙏
Nausea is one of the uncomfortable - but wonderful! - signs that we are detoxifying. My teacher used to always say "celebrate the symptoms" and I fully agree. These are the best indicators that energy is moving. Glad you're embracing them as well ;) Right now we are on a small island in Thailand, known as Koh Phangan. We will be here 'till May and then we are moving to Italy for our retreat 🙏🥰
Thanks Jennifer! I'm super glad you found this class beneficial today 🥰 For me, all Hatha Yoga is Kundalini Yoga, especially when there is focus on energy, emotions, Chakras, states of consciousness, etc. (and it is not done purely as a form of gymnastic exercise). The sequencing of this class however, has no affiliation with anything coming from "Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan". Hope that helps 😅
Hi Andrew, thanks for this amazing practice! I was able to let some emotions and tears out and like always i felt calmer and more connected to myself afterwards 🙏❤️ I have a question though: today i felt like the bended leg in the pigeon pose was getting bit numb while in pose, not in a very uncomfortable or painful way, but definitely noticeable. Is that normal or was it pushing my hips a bit too far?
Numbness is a tricky thing. It's generally not a bad thing, like one may think. It happens when pressure is placed in a way that is unfamiliar. For example, everyone who starts meditation will have to go through the legs falling asleep. It's unavoidable. But when the body gets used to it, and learns to relax in the position, the numbness stops happening. My legs never go numb, even if I sit for 1 hour. BUT if I sit in a pillow that is too soft, or maybe too hard, my legs can fall asleep within 2 minutes. It's because I'm in a position that is ever so slightly different than what I am used to. If I trained with that pillow for longer, surely it would stop happening. All this to say, it's okay if your legs get numb or fall asleep - especially if you are doing a new pose, or holding it for longer than you're used to. If you need, you can try using a pillow or folded towel for support, or you can make slight adjustments while you are in the pose. But sometimes it's just an unavoidable aspect of the practice. Hope that helps! 🙏💞
