I just got this system installed on a 406 sbc with a t-10 4 speed, I love how it runs driving around my yard. I need to put street miles on it though to evaluate it better, mpg, seat of the pants feel etc. One surprising thing I've noted, I wasn't able to get my car to idle below 1,100 rpm warmed up before, now it will idle at 750 and I can't stall it, can't... I've tried it just pulls against the brakes, and this is with a manual transmission in 1st gear, I do have 5.38 gears though might have something to do with that. Also of note the engine idles with 9 inches of vacuum, something I wasn't sure would be a problem or not before I got the system.
With all the respect that engine came with multi port fuel injection why the F would you spend money putting this on there when you already had it that is my question please answer it God-bless everyone
nahh it’s actually is that easy. Best efi kit on the market to me. im switching back to efi from carb just because this is easier then the carb conversion. i want have to constantly tune my carb nor constantly get some one to tune the factory ecu everytime i do an upgrade, i can just easily enter all the information & do it myself..well actually its gone do it mostly for me 😂😂
Most of these are pretty easy to install & use. Don't get me wrong, there are a few extras in the tuning stages, as in setting up the initial parameters are a little more complicated than they make it seem. It's not just bolt on & it just self learns. The instructions for the initial "tuning" of most of these systems, definitely don't cover enough or clear up enough. The forums & sites tend to be all over the place, as are most with everything. But overall, these aren't too complicated. I still recommend Edelbrock & Holley being at the top of the list, & truthfully Holley as number 1 from personal experience. I have installed several of these systems, & each has their pros & cons. And while I definitely like the "prettier" graphics & larger tablet screens of the Edelbrock systems, especially when mounting inside the vehicle, but i perfer the Holley efi handheld, which has a direct link connection to the ECU. The is no wifi, or lost signal issues, which the tablet setups can have, whether Edelbrock, Fi-Tech, etc. Not to mention eventually needing to upgrade the actual tablet. While this may not be so much of an issue after fully tuning either setup, but it can be if further adjustments want to be made &/or when mounted in vehicle for monitoring purposes. Regardless for the few issues, or extras along the way, these efi systems are great. The self learning will continue to learn as you go. And for those who know how to tune, you can really go in there & shape the maps. And while efi in itself doesn't make more power, but the ability to adjust & control everything thru the whole powerband sweep can.
Only thing that bothers me about this kit is the cheap ass tablet they include. C'mon Vic! Yall gonna have to step up your game and include some kind of "dash" in this kit if you wanna hang with holley, fueltech, etc..
That's not what he said. He said the C10 has an LS under the hood and shows the plenum. Then someone pulling the plenum off. He MENTIONS more people are switching from carbureted to EFI. Although mentioned back-to-back, two COMPLETELY DIFFERENT topics. The LMAO should be on you for not understanding the context of the sales pitch, you knucklehead. Which is all this is btw.
im kinda pissed i didn't do more research before i bought the holley sniper efi system. i would have been more satisfied with this system.

I would love to get one for my dads project truck
How do use adjust the IAC on the proflo? Is there a pdf from edlebrock or a utube vid?
Will this work in a dry Canadian winter? -40 cold starts on a sbc 350? I want to drive all year and not have to adjust my carb every 4 months.
Yes its solid
Does it have an Obd2 port?
It does not. Everything is managed thru the app
I have you're tbi 350 power package. Heads, cam, and intake manifold. Can this pro flo unit be used on my set up?
Yes
Amazing.
Sounds healthy

Everything is easy on tv. Probably what they got paid to say
The way he mentioned it using the latest microcontrollers definitely sounded like advertisement material
