Why do the contestants ask so dorky? "We just saw that under 25, let's try ....... Bla Bla just say the number. Gosh those cars were ugly back then, little eggs
@tvtimetravel I'm wondering myself. I wouldn't be surprised, considering that Barry & Enright originally created Concentration in 1958. They did produce it early on, but when the quiz show scandals broke out, they ended up selling the rights to the show to NBC. That's how the original version ended up lasting as long as it did.
+bluebear1985 Concentration could be a split rights production involving Sony Pictures Television and FremantleMedia joining forces with NBC for the possible revival.
There's no way to bring it back. NBC still had the rights to the name, but thankfully, I got the home version of this game from 1968, and it was from Milton Bradley. The reason why I love the game, because, they took the concept from the game show, and turned into a board game. Milton Bradley at the time made so many game show adaptations into a board game over the years.
One of my favorite things about Classic Concentration, done only in 1990-1991, is the audience chanting CLASSIC CONCENTRATION!!!!!! with Gene Wood, and then applauding after. The producers could have used sound bytes for the audience cheering after, but I still love it! Oh, and the NES game rules, despite there being no presence of Trebek. In the game's intro, they have a random guy playing the piano, but it doesn't resemble Trebek at all.
I love the Klondike Ice Cream Bars when I was 13 in 1991 when this show aired and still love them today. They need to show reruns on Game Show Network and they need to make a comeback and I love this show.
Jeff Powell I agree. Bert Convy was the same way, IMO. Contrast that with Tom Kennedy, Bill Cullen, or Peter Tomarken, all of whom knew when and how to have fun.

Thank you! I enjoy this show and watch it on Buzzr but I notice that too. They have to fluff everything they say
@@stevekay1925 I watch it too, and most of the time I think just pick the number already without any further explanations.
@@stevekay1925 Agreed, after watching Narz Concentration. CC is now a drag to watch. Before, I didn't notice the fluff; I do now.
Or when they say let’s choose number 7 because my middle child is 7. Like we don’t care about your kids. Pick the damn number!! Lol.
We need more games like this.

In its finale, the old show ended with nobody solving the last puzzle
Hopefully Buzzr starts airing the rest of 1990 and gets the 1991 episodes soon
Funny that you uploaded this today; I was just thinking about CC yesterday hoping I'd see a new-to-me episode soon. Thanks!
this needs to make a comeback

Good news....BUZZR's gonna finally air it.
Show the reruns on Game Show Network.
Forget it this and Jeopardy will never be the same without Alex.
this show is currently aired on Buzzr
That opening puzzle would have been best for a Halloween episode

Maybe Alex picked the cradle himself? Very protective of it.
13:11 You can't recognize Ernie?
What was the highest the Classic Concentration Cashpot ever?
1:12 - "13 month-year-old"? o_O
Cue cards by Patty Enright. Any relation to producer Dan Enright?
Ah, the infamous trip to Tahiti in Puzzle 1.
HarlemHyena Infamous?

My mom is 87 and eats one every night lol
@gameshowluvr86 If this was 1990, then that must mean ALEX TREBEK was hosting.
Funny that this particular episode aired 5 years before I was born.
yes really because days of our lives is boring and they dont have agame show hey you tube veiwers lets start a letter writing campaign to nbc
Today's generation if the other asked for Tahiti they would get in a fight
Alex is funnier on this over Jeopardy
O Chenault I have been thinking that the whole time i have been watching this series on TH-cam. I think that it’s because he has more room to vamp
I think he’s embarrassingly unfunny😒
Jeff Powell I agree. Bert Convy was the same way, IMO. Contrast that with Tom Kennedy, Bill Cullen, or Peter Tomarken, all of whom knew when and how to have fun.
And on the original editions of High Rollers as well, especially the 1980 Series Finale when he was “allegedly” drunk. 🤪
Jeopardy is a quick paced answer question game. No time to fool around.
@Angie2343
1991.
I forgot how ugly the cars were back then.
It was the 80's... most everything was funky looking compared to now
Some of the car names no longer exist today like the Pontiac Lemans.
I remember in 1990 Alex Trebek appeared on The Price Is Right .

Steven had no concentration.
The only car worth anything is the Civic.
Yeah I'm glad the UK didn't make an adaptation of this. Rather lame gameplay.
