Hi Laura, I love your channel, I've learned so much from you. My sister planted an Amaryllis one Christmas five years ago and she kept it in its pot and it rebloomed in the spring and shockingly she planted it in her garden the following summer in the ground and it bloomed twice in her landscape! She dug it up in the fall and repotted it and repeated every year since then. It blooms its little heart out since then. It now is five years old and the bulb is bigger then a soft ball and this past winter it put out seven huge blooms.
I love all the stories from all the young viewers. Gardening has always been a part of my life since I was young. My grandparents, parents and aunts showed me the love for flowers. I’m over 50 and finally started my own gardening and floral business. If your passion is gardening continue to learn and have fun.

Oooh! I loved that beautiful black hutch in that room. I love antiques! Would you ever consider showing a few of your pieces? It doesnt have to be a whole house tour. Just show it and maybe the story of how you acquired it or refinished it if you do that. Just a thought. Love you guys' videos!

I was really inspired by this video. Today I bought Amaryllis bulbs, gathered pinecones & Limelight Prime blooms from my property to recreate this beautiful centerpiece. I will also use branches I cut off the bottom of my Christmas tree! Thank you for sharing the process! 🌿

Always learn something new and useful from your videos. Creating a low care, beautiful centerpiece from three amaryllis bulbs was clever and learning not to water again until growth starts was a great hint. It will be a joy watching the amaryllis stems, flowers, and leaves enhance the base. Thanks for this easy, lovely idea
OMG Laura🙃.....seeing your trees up is so exciting...thanks to you guys last year I bought 3 trees!!!!NOW i have four and got trees and decorations at over 60 to 70% off!!!!! OH YEAH!!! I plan on making 2 flank diningroom so when the kids come over they will see to white CANDY CANE TREES all red ,white, silver balls and ribbons and of course the canes! Seeing your trees up now alerted me to get moving! Fingers crossed that they turn out like I envision! It's you and your love of what you do that inspires me to try new things! THANKS AGAIN GUYS !
So unlike most other 23-year old guys, I, too, planted my hyacinths recently. And now that you say that you got itchy, I did as well! I didn't know where it was coming from and I was freaking out. I thought I got bit by something!
The arrangement looks wonderful now as it is and will be so pretty when the amaryllis pop through!! The room you put it in is gorgeous! Can't wait to see another house tour once you are done all your Christmas decorating.
A lady in the comments asked about a garden planner and I think it would be wonderful for Garden Answer to produce a garden planner where you can write down what you planted, where, when things need to be done, etc. And maybe some gardening tips throughout! When you first started talking about this arrangement, I didn't think it would work at all. You changed that thought completely. Love this arrangement! I don't have a large enough home to do this inside, but it was sure fun to watch and I look forward to updates!

I usually put a clear plastic plate under the plate I want to use as a precautionary measure. The aragement turned out beautiful and I already can see it with the Amaryllis in it. When you said that you are placing it on your entry landing I immediately thought about your beautiful table. Love your house. It started to look like Christmas at your home. 😍😍❤❤😘 hugs all of you!

its 2022 now but this year we had 3 Amaryllis in bloom in the house. I think I might have searched and viewed all of the Amaryllis videos. I am a fan.

Fun for you to share, fun for us to watch! I wanted to do a big amaryllis display this year because I got some very inexpensive bulbs so I could actually afford to put three in one container. That gave me some good inspiration. I hope you will do an update in a few weeks when the amaryllis are up and blooming.

I Agreement. No fake stuff. I make advent wreath with 4 candles with only Winter greeney and Ilex Barries. I dont care when it dries up. We have had a trend here in Norway with drying flowers so it fitts me well. Havent made it yet. But I have a wreath on the front door with Noblis spruce and squarosa and a lil Eucalyptus with Seeds. Love How it looks😍

I love that you planted a bunch of Hyaicnths this year too ! I changed up my Fall bulb flower bed this year, and instead of my usual Tulips and Daffodils I planted only Hyaicnths ! I've never planted them before, but I'm really excited and hopeful that they will turn out beautifully. I used TONS of all brand new garden soil, and 180 new Hyacinth bulbs from my local garden center. I planted Carnegie too, along with Blue Star and Delph Blue. They make me so itchy and a little rashy too, but it's worth it ! I can't wait for Spring for our Hyacinths to bloom ! ❤

That amaryllis arrangement is going to be lush when they grow in! It looks really good, even the faux greenery. I can't wait to see. I'd love to see a Christmas tree decorating video with ribbons and bows! And of course we'd all love a holiday tour again when the time comes. I've been re watching last year's video for inspiration to decorate! Thanksgiving is next week and I can't believe it's already here.

Lol I’m on a roll now with watching these very old videos! I’ve planted some bulbs in pots already this fall and am nervous about their making it through the winter without moving them to the garage - which isn’t an option for window boxes etc. Fingers crossed. Beautiful project; I hope I can find the results!

Hi Laura, love, love your videos. I live in Australia and have shown a lot of people your Christmas trees from last year. Looking forward to this years. I really like that entrance table. My mum has a lot of antiques and she had glass tops made for her tables and side boards to stop them from being damaged. She also likes indoor plants and floral arrangements. Keep doing what your doing. Ps I use your video's for inspiration to get off my bottom and do some work.

Do you know if there’s some type of garden planning calendar? I’m thinking it would be great to note future dates that things need to be planted, fertilized, pruned, when things were planted, etc. I’m sure a regular calendar could be used for this purpose, but wondered if you knew of anything designed specifically for gardening. Love, love, love your videos. One of the first things I check each day. Great inspiration!
Julie Finley I think it’s a great idea, but it would have to be specific to each hardiness zone.

Not a planner with info filled in. One that you could make your own notes in as you plant in your garden and read tags for needs. I want to do this in future, as I tend to forget when certain plants need attention.
This would be a wonderful thing for them to make! I feel like they are such seasoned gardeners that they would know exactly what needs to be in there, and with Laura's creativity I'm sure it would be beautiful too! I would 100% buy 😍
