I am shocked how this format of decklist sharing and discussion is novel when it's clearly the best I've yet seen. Quick and still stands out. Well done!
Loved this formats, I enjoyed seeing the alternative's as well to get ideas of other cards that do the same or similar things! Super helpful as a newer magic player that's still learning about all the different cards out there
Love the formatting and energy for this! The quick comments are plenty instead of trying to drag out the video. Have you guys considered doing shorts in a similar fashion? Especially with older precons still kicking on shelves or cards to consider for certain commanders? I know there’s already lots of commander shorts content but I would like to think it could help with growth, too
This is so nice 🥺 We're definitely looking at the Short game but trying to figure out the best way for us to fit in. Like you said it's a little saturated and we just wanna make sure we're bringing something fresh
Nice video. i wouldn't cut augur of autumn : it "draws" you card and with it you know your top card, so you know if it's worth manifesting or not. One of the best card of the precon IMO
Super fair, that one narrowly made the cut for us (it was supposed to be in Skaab Ruinator's slot but don't tell people we make mistakes 👀) but we should be landfalling enough that the question of whether or not to Manifest Dread is never "no" and then pretty much everything else we kept just does something rather than setting us up to potentially do something. Very understandable to keep it in though, what would your 20th cut have been instead?
Would Zimone's ability allow you to play instant speed land drops (like from casting Harrow) and flip a face down Blightsteel Colossus face up after blockers are declared to one shot an opponent?
Sure would! Her ability triggers on any player's turn. Fun fact, if you manage to drop 3 lands in one turn (due to maybe a Harrow and a late Evolving Wilds) you can Manifest Dread on the first one, then flip any two with the second and third drops. She can provide craaaazy value if you manage your lands well.
I think Zimone can be VERY strong. And obviously there are more cards we'd change in a personal build but figure 25 in/25 out is a pretty great starting point
@@planarparty would I be able to send my list to you guys somehow to take a look at it? I appreciate your time and this has been a pet list I’ve put a lot of work into balancing out for high competitive play without becoming cedh.
@@StorytellerCharm Shoot the decklist to our email theplanarparty@gmail.com! We are super swamped this week (including going to Magic Con!) but I may have time to check it out early next week. Personal decklist feedback isn't something we plan on doing en masse but we WILL be starting a series where we help somebody once a month with their personal deck so keep your eyes peeled for when we develop the submission process for that.
Ancient Greenwarden causes the ability to "trigger an additional time", which means that Zimone will know the trigger has resolved once already. If you control both creatures and play your land for turn, you will Manifest Dread once then flip a permanent you control face-up.
I think mosswort goes better in big creature decks, though admittedly the enters tapped issue does get mitigated by landfall. I think if you built this deck from scratch as a big creature (perhaps even eldrazi) landfall that also featured the Vanifar, Evolved Enigma for extra face-down creature synergy it would work better in the land slot.
Yeah this is the best upgrade format I’ve ever seen. Quick, gets to the point without under explaining.
Glad you like it! Our goal was to trim the fat and just give ya the goodness, hope to keep delivering
hell yeah, glad you like it. more coming soon!
Just came to concur with the peeps in the comments congratulating y'all on some top tier content. great freaking work guys.
Oh wow, this is so nice!! Thank you thank you, hoping to just get better from here.
What a compliment Jesus

Aww thank you! That's our goal 😊 Not just better decks but better players too!
I love y’all’s format of video this is great!
No. YOURE great! (Thank you so much)
We like it simple and digestable.
Love the format and style. Very clean & concise. +1 Subscriber.
Thank you so much! Glad to have you 😊
appreciate you. more coming soon!
The one I've been waiting forrr
Hell yeah, hope you enjoy!
Got her degree from Strixhaven University and on to bigger and better things!
I love the intro and the ending it was funny, also love the way you presented other options to use 👍
Thank you! We try to keep it interesting for ya
appreciate you
I won't hear any slander about giggling skidder what's it. That toy story send up brought me a win!
It’s not a good card in THIS precon
It's SO good in Bello though.
@@cryojester i can see that
It got me a win too. Although I agree not good for the precon. It was an instant add to my Vorosh the Hunter +1 counters deck.

@@planarparty Cut the signets and the sol ring. Put some more 2manas land ramp xD
And i use the info not to "not manifest" but more "should i fetch/shuffle/ scry to get rid of the top before i manifest ?"

thanks yo!

When I have Zimone and Ancient Greenwarde in play does it trigger Zimones first trigger twice or does it trigger the first and the second?
Ancient Greenwarden causes the ability to "trigger an additional time", which means that Zimone will know the trigger has resolved once already. If you control both creatures and play your land for turn, you will Manifest Dread once then flip a permanent you control face-up.
@@planarparty thanks for the quick respsonse. This is the effect I was hoping for. :)
thanks for watching! Hope you found somethin cool in our recommendations
@@planarparty definitely found what I was looking for. 😉
Really cool efficient format, keep up the good work ✌️
Simic must be stopped. Also, taking out mosswort bridge?? That feels like a keep to me
It’s a tapped land that is only hideaway 4 and it’s a relatively annoying criteria that you’re not promised to hit
Hi Dan, friendly counterpoint: no it mustn't. Nadu did nothing wrong!
Narrow miss. I do love me some Mosswort Bridge
