Great video! These are all really good strategies for this deck. I’ve really been enjoying playing with it.
One super small correction. Manifest only lets you flip creature cards not permanents, so when you advise to place the land instead of the sorcery, you wouldn’t actually be able to flip that over at all, it would be stuck as a manifest.

Yes you are correct but I was referring to Zimone’s ability to flip permanents if two lands are put into play not the ability of the manifest mechanic

Hi, new subscriber here. You make us think; thanks for that! A sweet video would be, for example, upgrading this Jump Scare precon by only using Duskmourn (its own set) cards. Same with other precons such as Family Matters with only Bloomburrow cards, etc. Much appreciated 👏

      That’s an interesting idea Casey,
I’ll make one at one point and see how well it does

Are any one of the Duskmourn precon commander decks easier to play than the rest? Asking for a beginner...

I would say its the endless punishment precon

@@AllenIsbell that one is more expensive than the others though and you'll be a target for the other players because you have a lot of "annoying" stuff that affects all players.
Looking over the commanders, all of these decks seem to be producing pretty complex board states. (we also played a bunch of games with these precons yesterday). So the endless punishment precon is indeed the easiest, but it currently goes four touble the price.
      - The miracle enchantment deck has you constantly scry and put enchantments into play and eventually you'll have to keep track of a bunch of static effects and triggers. It might be too much for an inexperienced player.
      - the zimone deck is... well you saw it, but it feels like the second easiest deck of the bunch.
      - The black green golgari graveyard deck has a bunch of mill and you'll have to check tons of cards in your graveyard a lot so that's also a lot of reading, which could also be too much.
So in my mind, if you're very intimidated... maybe just check out commanders decks from a different set.
BUT hey magic is always going to be complex, I think you should go with what you think is cool in the end. IF you really dig a theme, that will help you push through any complexity. My real recommendation would probably be to get whatever you think is cool. Then watch youtube videos about how to pilot those decks (just like this excellent video here) and then play the decks by yourself without opponents. Play through the first 5-7 turns, then shuffle up and go again and do that a couple of times to get a feeling for the deck. It will make a hell of a difference if you do that as preparation instgead of just going in blind with your deck at the next game night.
