    The quintessential INTP experience is bumping into things. Bumping into physical things from trickster Se. Bumping into emotional things from inferior Fe. That ends up feeling like a lack of agency in this world, that the world is the enemy. Combine that with the nihilism of a Ti-Si loop, and it's easy to see how an INTP can feel trapped into irrelevance.
    But when an INTP finds their agency - often in a niche - and can Ne that niche out into other things, like helping people with it, it's glorious. When doing things becomes the restraining order against despair, then the world becomes a place to act instead of be acted upon. And then there's nothing the INTP would like to do more than do stuff, in part because there was a whole life of feeling like stuff couldn't be done.
    This is just my experience. But I suspect at least half of this is true for you if you're an INTP.

    I often feel like when I am daydreaming and learning about new things and experiences around the world, coming down to reality often feels like my wings have been clipped and I find myself sinking back into a dread and despair. Like the saying goes, "behind every skeptic is a disappointed optimist". But now, ever since I was introduced to MBTI and learning more about myself and people who experience life like me, I feel like I have a new lease on life to pursue all of these dream scenarios I keep finding myself in regularly.

    I always found these simple words inspiring. We can get so caught up in overthinking and perfectionism that it's hard to take a first step. Once we do, the momentum starts to build.

    No stopping an INTP once we make a move. I still go to the gym everyday, mainly to swim (Scorpio) and getting better at guitar after setting it aside for a number of years...now about my writing? You are an inspiration, Lili! My Renaissance Wonder Woman! 🤓👾😘

      @@NGC1433 Of course! Running marathons is better than sex Guitar too. Albeit I like doing all this and more in my head. Rabbit Hole work. Endurance swimming is tops and working with genetics in my greenhouses...but I am just as content thinking about. Put me in jail and throw away the key and I will stll be exploring all the ruins on Mars and elsewhere.

    so weird that i’ve lived my whole life and never known another intp. i’ve never felt like i really related to another person. ever. i’ve never felt understood. and somehow, you’ve built this whole community of people who are really, truly like me. and you’ve made all these videos showing us that you understand. and it doesn’t fix everything else going on but at 21, i feel understood for the first time in my life. thank you so much for everything.

    I'm an INTP Egyptian girl and I've been watching you since you had about 3000 subscribers, I always wonder when I see your videos and feel that you look like the picture I imagine of myself in my daydreams, I suffer from maladaptive daydreaming since I was 10 years old, I always get angry because I didn't achieve anything from what I imagine. I am in a struggle between myself and the ideal image of myself that I have in my mind. But i started to make tiny steps, maybe it's not that perfect, maybe there are hardships, But I hope became better with these steps. I hope that you doing will in your life, keep drawing the smile in our day by your videos, your video made my day after I was very sad. I loved the animations in the beginning of this video, BTW My English is not that perfect but you are the only foreign youtuber I can understand Him/Her english very well!

    Omg i'm almost crying bcoz of how inspiring this video is. I've been passing a lot of things this last two or three weeks and I've been feeling less motivated than i usually feel, and seeing and listening to this makes me feel way better with myself.
    This video made me realise a lot of things that I've improved or that i know/do now that i didn't knew/did before, things like understeanding and speaking english (i speak spanish bcoz #/chilean), helping in my house, hanging out with friends, being closer with some ppl of my family that i never thougt i would be (my sister, my mom, my grandma), etc.
    Really, thank you so much for doing this video♡

    I just want to say thank you so much for your videos. Because as an INTP, I always felt kind of broken. (Not because I knew I was INTP because I didn't) But after watching a lot of your channel, It has made me feel like I can still do things and I won't just be making the world worse. Also, I have felt stuck for a while, and I don't know if it will ever go anywhere, but this video has inspired me to start writing again. Or just creating things. So I just hope that wherever you are, you are happy. Also, I hope that you keep doing things for yourself.

    Pretty solid and inspiring advice. Thank you, I needed that today. And no you didn't kill the vibe back there. That whole loop you went on about doing something,not like right now but eventually.... though sometime soon. That urge to convey an idea as precisely as possible yet struggling to find the perfect words for it. It just made the entire video(and the message) a whole lot more INTPy and authentic.

    Lili, you are amazing. As an INTP, I find you very inspiring, and I know what you mean about adding just a little heart! Since my wonderful INFJ husband started helping me deal with my emotions, I realized that is what was missing all along. I was afraid to feel and express feelings, and it's like my husband helped me find the key to unlocking my magic. ❤

    Yep. Currently trying to get out of my mind and into the real world, where everybody says I'd do great. But we are very good with interior design, aren't we? My mind has like little puffs and a library, and cookies and puppies... so cozy.
    So it's a true struggle. But all good things happen out there, so...

    im an intp and i never said "you cant do anything" to myself and every other intp i saw was very melancholic and depressed. I dunno why but most intps are unhealthy. just get estp friends and you'll be okay.

    I've seen snow only once. I was almost 5 years-old and it wasn't what I expected it to be. The last thing I thought it could be was wet, even though it's basically water. I don't know what I was thinking when I dug my hands in the snow.
    I know the snow part was mostly a metaphor, I just wanted to point out I also thought snow was way different from what it really is.

      To be fair, if it's really cold out (which is how it is in most movies that show snow), snow is so dry you can't even make snowballs with it. That powder-dry snow is the best to go sledding on, because when you crash, it's like jumping into the softest pile of leaves that don't scratch, but they melt and run down your neck and make you _really_ cold if you aren't wearing a scarf. Bonus if the snow is like a meter deep or more. In that case, it's damn near impossible to hurt yourself unless you run into a tree.

      @@mage3690 So you are saying that snow isn't wet if it's cold enough?
      It makes a lot of sense if you consider that the temperature here rarely gets below 0ºC at night in winter. And when it snowed back in 2007 the snow was probably less than 5 cm deep.
      This clearly shows that my experience with snow is worthless.

      @@m41437 yeah, below about -10C it becomes hard to pack into snowballs, and it's most definitely dry. Of course, if you work it enough with bare hands, it will still melt, but the overall texture is dry and fluffy rather than the dense, wet, almost slushy stuff that exists above -3C.

    I was always thinking about what is it like to not know how snow feels. I am really trying, but I just can't imagine that. Maybe it's similar to not knowing what it's like to swim in the ocean? I don't know that.

    Asking as an ENTP - what gives you the sustained motivation to do this one thing? What made you start pumping out videos one after the other on the regular basis? It feels like I have periods when I start finally doing something and my whole life awakens from slumber, but they don't really last for me. I always wanted to make music, it's been 10 years now, but finishing songs doesn't come easy for me (even though I finished some), and posting them out there for the public doesn't feel like it makes any difference, with only a handful of friends seeing it. How do you manage not to drop your own hobby and stay consistent with it?

    Me encanto tu video. Hace poco que aprendi sobre esto de las personalidades mbti y me di cuenta de que es muy probable que sea un INTP, y al mismo tiempo descubri tus videos y me senti como conectado con la forma en la que te expresas en tus videos, lo que comunicas en ellos. Esta bueno saber y ver que hay gente que piensa y ve como "nosotros", que le da mil vueltas a las cosas.
    Siempre me cuesta hacer las cosas y dejar de procastinar, pero quizas tu ejemplo y tu consejo me sean de ayuda :).
