Even though I have been wearing loads of black all spring and summer, I feel like you've given me permission to wear black even in the warmer months and feel confident in my style choices. I always thought black pants were too "heavy" looking for summer, but I got a pair of black linen pants like yours last summer and they are amaaazing. I wore them all the time, I'll never go without now. Especially for dressing up a little, just pairing it with a nice black tank or blouse and some jewelry is so easy.

A loved video more than you know ❤ The long and short of it is that I suffer from hyperhidrosis and am forced to wear dark colors. When everyone else is wearing light colors I always feel left out. I iron my linens, but don’t worry about creasing while wearing them. I’ve recently found some items in linen/viscose blend, which is even lighter and cooler, they don’t need ironing, nor crease as much while wearing, I love this fabric. I just ordered a pair of black silk joggers, I’m excited to wear them on slightly cooler days, it doesn’t get more comfy than that! I wish they made more colors, like navy, brown, beige and khaki green, I’d get a whole wardrobe of them.

Yeah! I tried not to wear black in the summer 15 yrs ago and it’s not for me . I’m a khaki , navy gray , green , black color pallet person. With a little white sprinkled in for summer :) Also don’t care if my linen creases. I sit I stand it is what it is .
I don't wear black either, navy is my equivalent. I do find videos like this are great inspiration, just swap the black for navy. This year I'm loving monochrome in ivory and sky blue too, and yes to the linen (don't care about creases either).
You inspired me to buy the black Celine Seau Sangle in the small size, and it is by far my favorite bag! It's such a workhorse and goes with everything. Love how versatile it is.

Great options! Only linen creases the way it does. Linen has a beautiful sheen to it and is fabulous for summer. I love all your choices...But I do feel that rubber flip flops are for the beach only. I prefer thong sandals which are more elegant and more appropriate with clothes.

Paused this to order a black silk t-shirt blouse. I have a black silk one with puff sleeves and a neck tie, but that feels too formal for me. I agree with all of these, except for the flip flops, but I might need them for the sauna. I’m happy that I recently thrifted a black cotton dress, black linen trousers, and black bag. My black tee is the MVP. I spent so much on it, but I’ve had it for years and years. It even has a few tiny holes, but where I tuck it in, so I’ll keep it until it crumbles. (Majestic filatures)

I always wash mine at home. I pop it in a garment bag and then clean on a delicate cycle with a delicate detergent. Then I let it air dry but give it a little twist so that it keeps its creases 👍

@@SerenaDAlexander tip here, for black boxy t -shirts try the men's undershirts from Kalvin Klein or other brand in 100 % cotton and they will do the trick for a lot less. For a silky black skirt you can literally go for a slip, under the tee shirt and then a pair of black converse and away you go!

I am a half size and they don't do half sizes, so I sized down half a size but I would say if you are a full size then stay to your actual size. Although there is a lot of information on their site which is also really helpful. ❤️

i use padded plasters wrapped around the bit that goes between your toes you can also use clear ones ive done this for years as i also find they rub you could try this as birkenstocks can be pricey .

I personally prefer Sleepers as I prefer the shapes and I am not a fan of the logo on the havaina straps, but it will be personal preference 👍

@@SerenaDAlexander tip here, for black boxy t -shirts try the men's undershirts from Kalvin Klein or other brand in 100 % cotton and they will do the trick for a lot less. For a silky black skirt you can literally go for a slip, under the tee shirt and then a pair of black converse and away you go!

I am a half size and they don't do half sizes, so I sized down half a size but I would say if you are a full size then stay to your actual size. Although there is a lot of information on their site which is also really helpful. ❤️

i use padded plasters wrapped around the bit that goes between your toes you can also use clear ones ive done this for years as i also find they rub you could try this as birkenstocks can be pricey .
