Except Super Mario 64's problem was not applying a limit to your negative speed. In Quake or any engine using a similar movement system (like Half-Life), the way they prevent players from going too fast is by applying a speed boost opposite the way the player is looking. This works if the player is looking in the direction they jump, but once the player jumps backward, the speed multiplies and you get Accelerated Back Hopping (ABH for short). So similar mechanic (go faster backward), but a different reason why it works.

Deep Dip 2 got me watching other Trackmania. I've been thoroughly impressed with how much ingenuity goes into these tracks. So much more creative potential in this game than I ever suspected.

as far as decorations and furniture go, you should get a big, ominous obelisk to the old gods put right behind your chair that puts out an ominous hum during streams and videos. that might be cool and add to the experience a bit
As a casual player I love maps with lots of scenery, but when watching Wirtual, I really like the maps with NO scenery, cause it means every track piece is there for a reason and it makes it easier to understand the intended path.

Lowkey expected you to play the 2 years old Backwards Campaign that a bunch of streamers like Scrapie discovered before, which kinda teaches you about backwards, how to slide, etc. rather than trial/lol-backwards campaign (although those prob. more fun to play depending on the player xd)
32:10 found this turn-around tactic back in 2014 when driving RPG Puzzletime map, so it works in TMNF too. Im surprised you never figured out yourself before, lot of RPG maps back from 2012 - 2015 have those "bouncy turn-around" checkpoints.
I remember hearing that trackmania doesn't want to patch the different bugs since people have been using them as features for so long, but now that stunt mode exists I'd like to see a different kode where each of those bugs are properly patched and the car drives realistically without them

Anyways, thank you for the videos, my only suggestion for them, and it's a pretty small suggestion honestly, but as a new viewer I think it's fairly important and may be why your channel isn't growing too quickly. But my main suggestion for your videos is to add substantially more mayonnaise to the floor and point your camera downwards so we can see you sliding around in it. I think it would add a lot to your viewership numbers. Maybe if this video does 1000 upvotes you'll consider it? Anyways, thanks again Wirtual, bye.
