Why do this motion? It’s not full range. I’ve tried it a few times and don’t feel like I’m using my muscles correctly. Any tiny movement in any direction changes the angle of the push. It just really needs a scientific explanation of why a person would benefit the triceps doing this versus all the other triceps movements that use full range. I’m just saying.
I agree 100%, I'm not an enormous fan of the movement myself however these videos are here to help people on youtube identify movements that they may not know when in the gym. A lot of people follow programs that offer no additional support like the elements programs do so these are here to help in those cases.
