THIS , so far, is the Best layout of the Silent Yachts. I very much love the original galley layout(the owners had a whole lifetime of sailing around the World, and they finetuned the Best Galley design), which you mostly keep, and I agree that the front master cabin just brakes the flow of the design, and eats up space from the salon, not to mention frontal view. Thank you for putting some colors and character to the interior, I understand that for marketing reasons they wanted to present it as blant as possible, but nobody gets inspired to spend millions of dollars for a basic IKEA look . In the original Silent series, they had another countertop next to fridge, giving more precious food storage. Having two separate staircases seems less efficient use of space. Could it be only one staircase with two doors facing each other like on the other side? The crew cabin, does it have a shower? Could an attached ladder instead of staircase, free up more useful space? I am looking forward to see the real thing, at a Florida boat show in the owner/operator, 3+1 or 4+1 version.
I am trying to find a way to raise the funds to get one of these and spend several years travelling all over the world! Are there any updates on more efficient panels coming (more is always better)? Also, any videos about handling in non-optimal situations - with the tri-deck especially how much does the wind affect it?
Awesome review. This is still my favorite version. I hope you get to do a thorough walk through of a built one. I'm interested in seeing more of the inner workings, storage areas, ect. I'm trying to imagine where I'd store all the exterior cushions during passage. I know one Leopard owner has given over a head to just cushion storage.
Thanks! I really like your videos as well as your answer to the kids video. Thanks. Just waiting on a layout similar to aquila 54 with fly bridge and remote drive only
This yacht company needs more videos out of its yachts I can only find a handful of videos... The rest are CGI and diagrams, when I type electric yacht I see more Sunreefs then anything.
I think it is just a newer company, and it takes time to build these beasts. You can find a few videos of the 50 models because they've been building and selling them already.
Standard three-cabin version runs from €1,394,000 (around US$1,570,000) with the four-cabin version costing just €5,000 (US$5,630) more. Speed appears to be 4 knots at night and 11 to 14 knots daytime. The 60 Silent is a large yacht, from what I can see everything looks to be decently priced, providing you're a millionaire
2:23 shows why all the panels should have been lifted as part of the upper deck : shadow on the front panels. Foreward master : not a great idea in the smaller silentyachts. It feels like it was pushed into a location with a lot of comprimises like the stairs, the door into the salon, the windows that do not give you an outside view from the bed, yes it is huge but it not good enough to give up the front exit. I would rather have some extra batteries there with a level in the salon and have storage in that space accessible from inside or from above. Like you said, front exit is preferable...... Alternatively you could of course make the foreward master into two crew cabins :-)
I actually dont mind that the on deck master eats up salon space. You've got a whole nother floor for entertaining upstairs, people dont need this many "lounging areas" if you ask me personally, so I like that choice.
on your silent yachts particularly the silent 80 tri level Can you offer any customizations to accommodate an owner who is wheelchair bound? Particularly in elevator liftsystem to allow the worker access all three levels and wider doorways ETC? I would be interested in a forward master cabin spanning the entire beam with the bow with enough wrap around space around the bed with a wide door enough room to in and out in a wheel chair. This would also have to include wide door a router access into the restroom and shower. It would also have to have side decks along both sides of both that are wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair preferably with at least a 40 inch width? Access onto the vessel would have to include a wide enough gate and strong enough ramps to accommodate a powered wheelchair. While it would not be absolutely necessary it would be a huge huge selling point on the silent 80 trilevel if I was able to have a large enough tender and a way to get myself and my wheelchair on and off of it easily. So in other words 4 handicap access two wheel chair owner is what I'm looking for and so far has been unavailable from any company it's like they have forgotten they handicapped of this world. It's like we we just don't matter. So far I cannot find a vessel to suit my needs for any amount of money and so far I haven't been able to find a company willing to build it. And lastly can the silent 80 be customized not only with two electric motors but also twin diesels as well? I would want to run them all in tandem or individually I'm a person who likes options I don't like being painted into a corner. And in a major storm the 15 to 20 plus feet waves I don't trust your side 80 or any of your solid yards to be strong enough just with electric motors to be a heat that vessel pointed into the waves I think the ways of a major storm will manhandle your vessel and I'm not willing to risk my life and they open see in a storm without having twin diesel in addition to the solar electric engines I wanna be able to use nothing with solar but I want the option in an emergency of having the power of twin diesel engines. And one more thing are all the videos and all the information that I have reviewed on your products again particularly with the solid 80 Tri level I've seen no information on what kind of engineering design y'all have put into protecting the vessel and is occupant from lightning out on the open sea ... Why is that? Do you think your customers have forgotten they will be alone out in the open sea with lightning striking the water all around them start using it will be just a little bit of a concern for people? Given the power of the Internet I don't understand why you don't give comprehensive data on your products instead of making US ask and beg you for it? Is it because your vessels have no protection or weak protection? In fact the very fact that the solid 80 is fully solar powered every 'cause even more concerning because if you're hit by a direct lightning strike and it fries your electrical system then you are less stranded out in the middle of the ocean with no backup no sale no diesel no nothing just dead in the water prey to any further storms that desire your blood. So anyway I could probably go on but I would really appreciate some answers to these questions especially regarding accommodations for the handicapped

@@TheStaniG sorry, yes it IS there, but not readable. I expanded it and can't read the blurry text. It would be nice if it was posted in a readable slide, or take a couple seconds to just state the values.
Why does the 55 and 62 both have that island behind the cockpit across from the salon.. I don't see the space used in the berths... Seems like wasted space. unless I am wrong. What is it?
Good God! Is there any chance they're gonna make a more affordable 45 or 50??? Some of us can't afford the 3 mil price tag, but 1-2 might be doable. Come on get us something a little more affordable, I don't need the space of the 62.
@@thesilentyachtsguy Any chance there is a cheaper version than the slient 60 being made? I been looking at Greenline models. You guys should find a way to build a million dollar price range model. Also do you guys offer trade ins. Like if you buy a slient 60 you can trade it in later for a 80
These yachts seem incredible, but the main salon feels like it has so much wasted space. It's just strange that the only place to sit is at the table in a boat this large.
so two years has passed. Still, not a singel real life picture of a 3 decker. Silent 80 was published... 5-10 years ago? Videos and interviews of the silent crews with a unfinished 80 hull years ago, but still, no news. What is wrong with Sileny Yachts?
Can you bring us some real pictures/video regarding the size of 'garage' ? As I see many batteries are actually in the middle of the main deck. so the motor and axle to propeller should not be big but still there are lots of equipment occupy space. generator/water treatment whatsoever..

The addition of that deck completely changes the boat! It’s the best change yet. So how much for a trideck closed?

I like the hull shape a lot.
Indeed, the hull is great. And some other features too like the master cabin ;)
Sorry for the nitpicking, but using a lavaliere lapel mic will keep you from having the weird echo effect.
This is my dream!
Same! I wanted them to make a trideck 62 and here it is haha.
Is the 3 deck version less stable and more likely to tip over during an ocean crossing?
All versions have to meet the same safety and stability standards.
On the 3-Deck version with the master suite on the 3rd Deck, can the boat be maneuvered from the 3rd Deck?
Yes, an upper helm can be added if required.

Are there options for a 3rd deck master suite or a hot tub?
I'm sure every yacht is made to order so I don't see why not.
Yes and yes 🙌🏻
Is there a wait time for an order? Or do you guys have inventory on hand?
Everything is built to order, drop me an email and I’ll take a look at the next available delivery times.
0.93 meter draft is 3 feet. not 3.9 the 3.9 foot draft is the silent 80 at 1.20m
Yeah that seems really shallow for ocean crossings.

What happened to the 55? I can not find it on the site anymore
Would not surprise me if it is discontinued so all production goes to making 60's/62's. How much difference is there between them?
55 has been discontinued.
The 60’s have significantly more volume and solar/battery capacity.
can you include the air height in future videos/metrics?
thats at the end
