@@l.n.3372 Shame about that SD. Though not by a large amount, he was in a good position prior. From what I saw the main thing is that Sonix was struggling to finish off his edgeguards. Most of his kills were from hard callouts. Light just needs a nair.
@@lokks2130 yeah he SD at like 30% or something. he def could have won that game. I noticed that too. his plays were great but he wasn't getting enough edge guard whenever Fox was off stage. he usually hits those clinically (like against Aegis).
Fox is a better character than Peach. The consistency of Fox's neutral will beat out gimmicky turnip kills that require both insane skill/speed and luck more often than not
That’s not necessarily true. Peach can rack up most of the character to 60% off one interaction. But that doesn’t mean doesn’t have bad matchups. She’s a solid character regardless
Imo if the hitbox of Peach's nair was slightly more obnoxious she would win the matchup because she'd be able to box out Fox easily. I don't know if Fox wins the mu just looking at the tools, or if he's a better character but he's definitely a lot easier than Peach and afaik that's the main decider between Light and MuteAce's matches.
@@buttistedsuidice3296 You should play against MuteAce or any other good Peach and then you'll see if turnip kills are "gimmicky" or not. These players can consistently pull that stuff off. It's harder against top players because they deliberately play in a way that makes it harder. Don't pretend like the threat of a touch of death combo doesn't have a big presence when playing against Peach. Sparg0 died for it against Mute last year.
That is very harsh thing to say. I also don't like Sonic in smash, but actively wishing for someones career to end because of the character they play is too much for me.
