- With the Gran Turismo 4 Randomizer mod you can get random prize cars everywhere, so I thought to myself what if I instantly switch to every new prize car I get and see if I can complete the entire game like this!

If only the Sports Truck Race wasn’t part of the main progression… IMO it should be an American regional championship instead when the Spec II Mod is released!

I think I've already handled it decently in a different way - Extreme is unlocked by getting to IA rather than completing GTWC (which itself requires Sport Truck), and I believe I've moved GTWC to the end of Extreme so it's more like a finale now
maybe the people behind the randomizer mod would be able to remove it or make it optional.

Regarding boot (trunk) spoilers on FWD or slower cars, they're not for producing downforce like a wing, they're to shape the airflow - often either reducing drag to increase economy/speed but more often just to shape the airflow over the rear window. My old Impreza had a small wing on the boot and all it did was make the airflow cleaner so the rear window cleared of water by itself without needing a wiper. My friend removed his spoiler and this effect stopped, and there was a lot of turbulence on his rear window. So that's what the spoilers are for - giving the airflow a clean break from the rear of the car to prevent turbulence.
GT4 is a statement to how well thought out a game can be. One make races are rare outside the GT series yet it brings so much depth and makes use of the nuggets you otherwise wouldn't use. (asides from 25 versions of miata & rx7 available.)

I've done a run similar to this and the special events saved my ass more than once, I did get a sport truck pretty early on however so I didn't expect you to struggle but I realized how little there are compared to how many other cars there are in this game.
Ahh the Ford Ka was the MVP of this video! Definitely made it worth the watch. 😉

It sucks that you weren't able to win a truck in this playthrough, it was the main reason this run stopped dead in its tracks but watching this live with all the weird and wacky cars you got was pretty interesting overall. I'd say the highlight was the Motorwagen, a car that none of us expected lol.

I think the randomizer mod needs to exclude useless cars like Model T, Nike One, and Motor Wagons since those are all useless display cars. Also, make the SUVs eligible for the truck race, damnit!

So, idk if anyone has ever done this type of challenge, but why don't you try a Gran Turismo run where you can only use (for example), green cars only? Could be fun.
*When i say green cars, i mean cars that are currently green, example:
If you get a blue Griffith 500, you can't use it. But, if you get a green one, it's ok.
That idea already was done by Streaks with blue cars , you should check that out 👍

Those Ka races were hilarious! As for the Speedster event, I find it's not too hard with the right setup. The NA Speedster is superior, a GT wing and racing tires even the odds between you and the AI. You don't even need a turbo kit, with stage 3 NA it should be enough.

Interesting idea for a challenge run.... how about you try GT4 but you can only use cars that you or your live chat currently own (with some sort of proof) just to see what cars the average viewer has . Not "my mates got" or "I used to have" , they have to currently own it.

If I'm right the models for some or all of the Forza Motorsport 8 cars are from Forza Motorsport(OG Xbox), Turn 10 just refuse to make completely new models from the ground up.

Also, i wonder if in future parches in the Randomizer Mod, there's a way to stop duplicate prize cars from happening, like no same prize cars happen at two events.
Next Challenge, buy only new cars. No Upgrades, no used car market and no pricecars allowed. But you can sell the pricecars. Like a rich guy who doesnt want do buy used ones.
