- We're back with more Street Fighter 3: Third Strike! This time I got the opportunity to run a first to 5 match against Justin Wong himself, and I even had the chance to attempt the legendary Evo Moment 37 chun li super parry! It turns out it's harder than it looks. Hope you enjoy the set!

You know Justin is a nice guy when he lets so many people try to recreate his biggest defeat.
I guess it's because it's despite being on the losing end, people see him as a legend either way. Nobody else but Daigo could have possibly pulled that off against Justin in his prime

The really scary part is that in Justin‘s mind he’s still making mistakes and we just can’t see them.
Once Justin played against him for some rounds, he started predicting everything jm would do and countered It

It's remarkable how hard it is to do, even when you know it's coming
You basically have to press forward before the super flashes so yeah even though you know its coming, its a matter of when and how.

It really puts into perspective how good Justin is that JM is happy with just taking a few rounds off of him. And just how many other monsters there are online that can take matches off of Justin.

When your opponent figures you out you just put down the controller and walk away... The worst is when your back is in the corner and you get into a guessing match and guess wrong every time LOL 😂

Just gotta say, The Last Dab is a reward, not a punishment. I visit a buddy of mine out of town, and every time I'm there, we order fried wings and apply some Last Dab. It's delicious. Sure, I can only eat like 4 wings with it applied before it's too much, but I REALLY enjoy those 4 wings.
As a fellow heat seeker I'll be dropping a fiver just for the chance that he'll do it. I have that sauce it is tastey fire.

What I took away from this is that Chun's throw reach is way further than it looks and Ibuki's slide is terrible, she gets punished for landing it.
Yeah remember when fighting games would have moves that where so bad they'd be punishable on hit

Been a long time away from Third Strike. I used to be pretty dang good with Q, Oro, and Makoto, but I didn't put in the MVC2 hours and can't do the same stuff in my sleep. One thing I did love was super activation to punish rushdown. It's risky but fun.

at this time you've improved a lot to be honest, the only problem is the matchup knowledge and i can't judge since there isn't any real guide in how to do it, haha, my main is ibuki and i love your jorney bro!, i've studied her a lot and the only thing i can say is, more neutral jump and lp kunai, also empty jump is a really good tool. good luck!!!

Damn When Justin is playing it looks like the kick goes at opponent slow but from the other side of things it's quite fast!
I was thinking this too. His stream makes him feel slow and defensive but he is bodying JM here.

The way you both can parry is so impressive. I've always been terrible at it. Sorry in advance for this possible rhetorical question, but does option select exist in every fighting game, ?
To my understanding, an option select is just a situation where the same input can lead to different outcomes depending on the situation, and either option is good for the person performing the option select. I can't say whether they're universal, but they certainly seem like the sort of thing that will exist for at least some characters in most fighting games.

Is parry in this game a forward tap into an attack or am I completely wrong? Think I’m gonna get into this on fightcade later.
Its like a perfect block in other fighting games but you push towards the attack
Same for low attacks you have to push down and the direction towards it

Yeah, she has great tools and Justin is one of those players who is happy to play simple.

Without Ultra instinct Daigo's parry your change is only 0.0009.

Of course you can input the parry before the super comes, but, if I'm right, Chun's SA2 has a 3 frames startup, so you have this time period to input the parry AFTER the super. It's hard, but doable.

Good tries man, way better than I Could attempt for sure. No shade but I can notice 2 things right off the bat, you were fishing way too much for the super parry and it showed in your gameplay and made you predictable, also, you jump a lot showing your a DBFZ main (which I can only see cause I am also one lol)
