Is there any vanilla/mod way to help me track what parts I need? Something like tagging components in fallout. And also, any way to check recipes on the fly? In pda I only found the recipes unlocked from books Crafting system is interesting and cheaper to use, but its also so complicated and hard to get good in it. It feels like instead of doing it, I could just do ques... tasks and earn more money in that time anyway And one last thing - did you change the grass settings in later episodes? With TH-cam compression it blurs the video, sometimes to the almost unwatchable point
One funny thing - despite being in the swamps, cordon, garbage, rostok, army warehouse and truck cemetery, I only found a total of two tool sets - one expert somewhere deeper in the zone, and one basic in the swamps. Talk about bad luck Recipe book I also found only one...
I’m glad the series inspired you to give Anomaly a shot. The crafting can be overwhelming, I had to piece it together when I started too. For tracking gun and armour repairs, there isn’t a tracking system that I’m aware of. You could use the Sorting Plus mod to mark items as favorites. I know it isn’t the same thing, but it’s the closest to repair tracking that I’ve seen. As for crafting, I have you covered! Check out my crafting tracker video on this channel. I created an Excel spreadsheet listing every crafting recipe and the components required. Furthermore, the main dashboard tracks the individual components you need to collect and even highlights when recipes are able to be crafted when you update the number of components you have. The tracker is free to download and use, just use the link in the video description. m.th-cam.com/video/YAqvI1x474M/w-d-xo.html Hope this helps 👍 Lastly, I didn’t change the grass. The biggest issue was my recording bitrate and TH-cam’s native video compression. I forced YT to use a better codec by outputting my videos at 2k.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie Im already using Sorting Plus, probably the only reason I even attempted to do crafting and not lose sanity. So i came to butcher and made a huge stash next to him, and that was thx to the unlimited amount of enemies that keep on showing up, i had a raid of more than 15 military and merc with high tech stuff attack, idk if that's normal for the game or what but it seem odd to get vs val, mk14, g36 and seva suits and heavy armors while still i garbage, if someone met the same enemies there lets me know. Does the game maybe send heavy enemies to an area just cause you haven't moved for a while?
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie vanilla story mod, i turn off offline battles and i thi k progressive loot is on, but like i spent 5hrs just crafting disassembling and managing my stash there, i have a feeling that staying that long in 1 location might trigger such thing? @@samerabdallah7596 Perhaps turning off the living Zone forces more to spawn in your region to keep things interesting. I also get the feeling that factions like Monolith and Military might be able to call reinforcements during battle which spawn in extra squads, but I have no evidence to back this up, just anecdotal experience.
are you avoiding saving at unlit campfires? I also play campfire mode atm, and it allows me to save at unlit campfires aswell. just wondering if im missing something
You’re not missing anything, the campfire mode is broken and still allows saves at unlit campfires so I’ve made a house rule that campfires must be lit (doesn’t matter who lights them…).
You know it isn't a important mod but for funsies you should definitely install the taunt mod for season two so you can just taunt at anyone you want lol
I have a question. I get stash coordinates on my pda but when I search for them they're nowhere to be found I do have the stashesh map marker checked is it possible for them to be in far away areas?
When you get stash coordinates, they appear in a random area on the map as far as I know. They won’t always be in the same area that you’re currently in. Is that what you mean?
Yeah, if you open the PDA map and scroll around each area you’d eventually find it somewhere. Purple markers contain high-tier loot, while green markers contain average loot. Also keep in mind that some stashes are deviously tricky to spot or reach, even when you know their location.
All stash containers can naturally and randomly spawn items and become a legitimate stash. You’ll never see markers for them unless you’re given their coordinates by a PDA or as a reward for completing a task. This is why it’s a good idea to poke around and hunt for stash containers in the wild - you never know what they might have!
Was thinking what are the best none stupid hard mode settings for a good casual play through? I love playing stalker but I cannot find a happy medium when it comes to the settings it's either to hard or to easy lol
If you don’t want to get wrecked by enemies and anomalies, don’t forget that you can manually adjust how effective your armour and bullets are, irrespective of difficulty (it’s in the gameplay settings menu after you start a game). You can also adjust the prices which traders offer which makes items more accessible. Finally, you can try disabling progressive loot mode. This gives you access to top-tier loot immediately instead of having to level your rank which takes a while. I reckon those settings combined will get you off to a good start 👍

Hope this helps 👍
Lastly, I didn’t change the grass.
Great mod in general, especially for new players
Your spreadsheet and explanation video are excellent, exactly what I wanted, thanks!
I last used Excel like 10 years ago and I dont have it, Ive been using open source office tools since then. Now I need to make this file work on them, but I will figure it out. Thanks again
I’m told that it works in Google Sheets, though I haven’t tested this myself. The formulas between Sheets and Excel are largely the same.
You probably fogured this out by now, but quick saving and then reloading seems to fix a lot of the bugs. Gets guys to move again, fixes the bug where your keyboard doesnt register (except escape works, thankfully) fixed it when the traders door st the farm wouldn't open for me.
All of the above, yep. It’s a bit painful to do in a campfire-saves-only run though.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie totally fair point. You're a legend for making it so hard on yourself. Maybe one day ill be so brave.
I think I volunteered a little too much given Anomaly’s known instability. Hopefully 1.5.2 patches the worst of it out.
I like how the shotgun can be loaded with infinite ammo 😅
i hate pseudodogs, chimeras, snorks with a burning passion :)
Stash that stuff inside the farm, then you can work on your gear during emissions.
Not a lesson I learn 😝
So i came to butcher and made a huge stash next to him, and that was thx to the unlimited amount of enemies that keep on showing up, i had a raid of more than 15 military and merc with high tech stuff attack, idk if that's normal for the game or what but it seem odd to get vs val, mk14, g36 and seva suits and heavy armors while still i garbage, if someone met the same enemies there lets me know. Does the game maybe send heavy enemies to an area just cause you haven't moved for a while?
That's highly abnormal for vanilla. If you aren't playing with progressive loot and/or have loot/enemy rebalance mods, however, anything is possible.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie vanilla story mod, i turn off offline battles and i thi k progressive loot is on, but like i spent 5hrs just crafting disassembling and managing my stash there, i have a feeling that staying that long in 1 location might trigger such thing? It was full invasion had military come from every direction, tho after i started moving and came back it was back to only bandits. I've been seeing a lot of mercs tho since i went to agroprom lab.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie hmm could be, tho it seemes that offline battles can fk up missions so had to turn it off.
What is your addon list for Anomaly? I've never found an artifact in a stash
This is a vanilla run, no mods, Anomaly 1.5.1.
Surprise hip died she's a pain to kill also ssp helmet is the best all around helmet for me
I guess that only applies once she’s a companion.
are you avoiding saving at unlit campfires? I also play campfire mode atm, and it allows me to save at unlit campfires aswell. just wondering if im missing something
You’re not missing anything, the campfire mode is broken and still allows saves at unlit campfires so I’ve made a house rule that campfires must be lit (doesn’t matter who lights them…).
You know it isn't a important mod but for funsies you should definitely install the taunt mod for season two so you can just taunt at anyone you want lol
I do have something like this installed… 😉
Onto episode 4
So did you buy to get Great swamp or you got lucky with a PDA
That was a while ago, I don’t remember, but my luck’s horrible so I probably bought it.
I have a question.
I get stash coordinates on my pda but when I search for them they're nowhere to be found
I do have the stashesh map marker checked
is it possible for them to be in far away areas?
When you get stash coordinates, they appear in a random area on the map as far as I know. They won’t always be in the same area that you’re currently in.
Is that what you mean?
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie yes so I'm not going mad not being able to spot the stashes , they're just in a different area
Yeah, if you open the PDA map and scroll around each area you’d eventually find it somewhere. Purple markers contain high-tier loot, while green markers contain average loot.
Also keep in mind that some stashes are deviously tricky to spot or reach, even when you know their location.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie I also get a prompt for "stashe found" even tho there wasn't any marker pointing to the stash , or is that something else
Also you can disable dynamic anomalies and you wont have to worry about running into that random whirligig
I love the random anomalies, makes the Zone feel more dangerous and you need to pay more attention.
what will be the fanction of the next season
Only the all-seeing Monolith knows.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie So i'm going go ask to the monolith
Let me know what it says.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie he said za monolith and he start shooting me
So, why didnt you replace with the most damaged component to maximize the repair?
Couldn’t tell you the thought process, that was a while ago. As a guess: it didn’t matter on the grand scheme of things.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie had you done it, it would have been useable with the heavy repair kits
Could you list what mods your using please?
That’s an easy one:- none!
We’ll be using mods in season 2, but season 1 is a vanilla playthrough.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie ah ok cool! Thank you!
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie holy shit, you mean season is 100% vanilla!? Fucking hell that's amazing.
I see a lot of new players jumping immediately into modding before even trying vanilla. Base Anomaly has a tonne of great features and is a solid experience on its own. I highly recommend that all new players finish *at least* the first main quest before deciding whether to use mods. I’ve answered so many questions about mods for specific features that are already in vanilla.
@@Blondefire_HeyBlondie but wait, now I'm confused. Are you sure it's 100% vanilla? Because I'm hearing audio sounds straight from fallout new vegas.
Kev get us Marlboro blue from unknown McDonald's
