I just purchased a similar bayonet but it was a Snake Eyes branded one. Looks to be the same as the Wartech. Mine also came packaged like a block of cocaine that washed ashore. You needed the bayonet inside to open the packaging.
Thanks for nice review. This is not the cheapest bayonet on amazon - there are cheaper ones like $16 one but they come with really flimsy scabbard. Wartech bayonet looks beefier, but it has issues. Namely it has metal core "full length" tang, but that depends on strength of the outer plastic handle. When the bayonet is stressed or abused, the plastic handle will crack and then metal core will be bent. So for these cheap bayonet to be really be robust, the outer plastic handle needs to be replaced with something much more sturdy, like steel tubing of same length.
Likelly not, any knife depends on the skill and intent of the holder, if ur willing to kill and are strong you can easilly overpower an enemy and even stab them with their own gas station pocket knife even if they get to stab you a couple times before, all it takes is 1 hit to any major arthery and you're gonna bleed out anyway, so ideally you want to be strong, know where to strike and be able to have your blade ready within 1 second or less as it is the normal reaction time in people, so if you can't don't even mind pulling a knife, specially if u gotta open it and can't do it quickly as you enemy may have a blade ready and in hand within his pocket to strike you during the time ur opening ur blade. Btw, you may just want to strike the neck in a sliding motion on the side to make sure you catch the right place (make sure its sharp tho), then start running as fast as possible, if the enemy gives chase they will die sooner, and they won't be able to chase effectivelly as doing so will require more blood flow wich will result in blood squirting out even more wich will make them dizzy quicker and rethink their life decisions as they lay on the sidewalk not enjoying their last few minutes of conscience.
Well the S&W one I got was pure crap! From Taiwan. The one you got looks exactely the same but without the "Smith & Wesson" logo. Paint comes off just putting it in the holder a few times. The knife steps down to go through the plate the guns muzzle goes through but than steeps down again quite a bit and are prone to breaking. I've seen many photo's of broken one's.
Cheap bayonets are like going to the moon… it’s all about the tang… Some are just fine and do the job but what you don’t see is the short tang not going all the way to the bottom of the handle… thanks for the video
13" for total length. 8" is total length of the blade. Blade is about 1/4 inch thick- same as real m9 bayonet. But the bayonet is not sturdy as shipped as outer shell (plastic handle) is flimsy and liable to crack under stress.
Why the heck do people think they need those useless serrations on their knives? If you have to use it for what it is designed for you are going to have a hell of a time pulling that thing out of someone's guts. Give me my trusty US Army issued M-7 Bayonet. Razor sharp on top and bottom, It will do it's business and you will be 10 feet on your way before the unfortunate subject of your intentions realizes you have even stopped by. Did you know that during WW I if the enemy caught you with a serrated Bayonet they took a little extra time sending you to your maker?
You do know that it’s not intended for “gutting someone” they are used for a variety of things from wire cutting to sawing to breaking. Multi purpose knives are intended to have at least a little something for any and every possibly situation one could come into.
I just put in an order for a Chinese made replica M7- M16 mount bayonet for $30 excluding shipping and handling puts it at $16. I could get government issue bayonet of same model and style for over $99 but then it would just collect dust, I’m gonna carry and use it if I buy it 😎
you're saying you wouldn't carry a 99 dollar knife??? It's a knife, why not? That's like saying you wouldn't shoot a 700 dollar gun because you have a 500 dollar gun already, even if they're night and day differences.

Just ordered one. It won't ever be used and will just sit on my wall prop M16 clone but I think it will look good.
Thanks for this. Sharpen it?
What length barrel did you have in this video?
Bayonets come from the desire to shoot someone but you're out of ammo and he's right in front of you
I would use bayonet to keep distance from the attacker. Much more difficult to charge someone when they have a mounted bayonet.
A year later, how do you like it still?
He destroyed it on throwing test.
Trying to find a real m9 bayonet. Sold out everywhere.
ontario-knife-store.com/ontario-knife-m9-bayonet-with-sheath-black-handle-6143/ the us army uses this one, although it is pricey
You can always find the real deal M9 bayonets on eBay. You can even find the AK bayonets and the real deal M7 bayonets as well.

Yall onow them gas station pocket knifes? Can they work for self defense??

@@ReallyTY4Real Thanks man!really useful information you ve just shared with us. I will keep these in mind.
Wow, this looks to be a Smith & Wesson SW3B, which sells for 3-4x the price.

Will it fit a 14.5 inch barrel?
I belive it will if you have a carbine length gas system.
does it have a full tang?
Sadly not but it is built decently
Don't burn me at the stake for asking but other than aesthetic what's it good for other than tacticool shit?
Bayonet make stabby. Stabby hurt.

Ahhh.. almost no m9 bayonet has full tang? 😅 no matter cheap or expensive?
@@railx2005 The original issue had a short tang that screwed into a metal rod that ran the length of the grip.
Price?
Bayonets are so cool!! Just put a surplus on my ak and i love it! 🤓
Thank you
looks like a copy of the S&W one or same mfg but different branding.
Whats the overall length and the blade length of the bayonet?

Does not fit properly, the Bay. The ring should fit over Flash supp. Lug...
Design is good, but they saved money on the metal to cut cost.
Yes they really saved money on the handle. Should have made handle out of steel and rubber coated it then it will be super strong.
Try to sharpen it
Why not
I like my m7 bayonet on an ar15
May I ask how you mounted it on your ar?
Thx William
I am unanimous in that. My M-7 bayonet is razor sharp on top and bottom.
Who packaged it, the sinaloa cartel?
Exactly lol that somebitch took so long to ship cause it took them a while to wrap it up
The ghost of Pablo Escobar
Today I found one for 21.78
Is it for airsoft or real guns😂
Real steel
supposed to be copy of m9 bayonet which fits on AR15 or mossberg 590. But hole on the guard is a bit small, so it needs to be enlarged.
Sub'd today as a Joe Dirt poor DAV perfect plan 2 add 2 AR 15 which I hope someday 2 own ! TY
Looks cool. But even the better brands of that type knife suck. Don't believe me. Take it apart!
Take it to an angle grinder and cut it long and thin like a pencil then itll be fine. Make it fit snug around the barre and boom, useful
Do you smoke weed

its for wire cutting

Nonsense.
Serrations cut and drag at the same time. Have you never used a fucking steak knife, you dork?
The serrations are for cutting wood. The part of the spine just above the serrations are the wire-cutting part.@@bonkersbrady1497

Drags booger pickers over blade right before he uses it to cut the paper there’s a genius.
'China'...
Knockoff smitybilt
It seems to me brother that it is Chinese garbage.
Will this fit a 11,5 inch barrel?
