face palm to the fool that called the otters "beavers" thanks Legend for correcting him., never been to Great Adventure looks cool, but with theme still advertising on the rides damn Six Flags you lost that luster that I loved back in the 80's.

Nope just the old theater, you still can't walk by where Spinmeister, Music Express & Bumper Cars were.

Legend, why do you and your lady prefer Top Thrill to Kingda Ka? Aren't they virtually identical? Thanks.
Matt Man Dragster has just a lap bar and Kingda Ka has over the shoulder restraints, which leads to a scarier/better view on Dragster & a much shakier and a little tiny bit rough ride on Kingda Ka
Great Adventure is probably my favorite park. Been going there since 1999 I think thats the year Medussa opened. The Great American Scream Machine and Chiller are sorely missed. The Green Lantern and Dark Knight rides that replaced them suck! Good thing there are plenty of other great rides like Nitro, Bizarro, El Toro and Skull Mountain. Cool video!

That's strange that they Theme everything to DC and their official website says "New York/New Jersey's biggest, most popular theme park featuring dozens of thrill rides, shows, and activities (Jackson, NJ)" But I guess we should just take your word as fact and not use our eyes and or google or the company website.

Awesome tour video! I'm going there next year to check out El Toro (Awesome wooden coaster), Nitro, Bizarro, Kingda Ka (maybe one time), and the new 4D free fly coaster coming in 2016! :)

Flash Pass isn't actually run by six flags its a leased company (we call them leases at work) so the training isn't through six flags. Also the employees can be as young as 15 for flash pass. I personally work in games which is a six flags owned company.

Yes, the old part of the park where the show was is where they have the Asylum terror trail. I recommend going during fright fest and doing the trails, pretty fun, especially the asylum.
Why the hell do they charge extra for certain rides when you already pay soo much for entrance and parking!!! Such a rip off!
at 20:48 that's the old bumper car building and before that the Haunted Castle haunted maze (r.i.p to the 8 teenagers that burned in the Haunted Castle fire). Rumors say that that area at 20:48 is closed off is because of the spirits of the 8 teenagers that died in the Haunted Castle fire haunt that area.

I am curious what you think of six flags building a compact free spin s&s coaster where the two stadiums were. I personally am excited for a free spin coaster, but am sad at the same time, because it seems like a waste for such a small ride to destroy that whole plot of land. But maybe in later years they will expand that part of the park. Great video :)

a theme park would have a theme. Cedar Point has no theme, nor do they theme their coasters. (except for maverick and millennium force)

Missing out on a good video
I'm going to NY in summer and I'm not sure if I should visit this park. The rollercoasters are looking great and different than those in Europe. But I think compared to Disneyland it will be disappointing because I miss the charme... What do you think? Is it worth to visit it?

How bad are the lines?? I'm going this summer but I didn't get a flash pass and I really don't want to wait in 2 hour lines.
If you are going on a Saturday, expect death crowds. Weekdays during summer depends on how many camps are at the park

Haha me and my friends got the flash pass. It was worth every penny. We felt like celebrities getting to go directly to the front. Good times.
