Development of marking solutions for extreme process conditions in metal processing

High temperatures and special atmospheres make component marking in metal processing difficult. At Fraunhofer IKTS, a marking has been developed with CeraCode® that defies these conditions and without affecting properties of the component. The basis for this is the technological and methodological competence of IKTS to develop marking solutions on different substrates for different process conditions. Robin Anton demonstrates in this lab tour how marking solutions are tested under industrial conditions.
