I did do a job where the drawer fascias had curves on them but can't remember if I used this 😅 Flick through the vids until you see a dark oak veneered drawer unit, as I may have used it then 🤷♂️
Hi. How are you finding the katsu router? Considering picking one up. I usually use a router for installing intumescent strips in fire doors 15mm wide 4mm deep.
Hi, It's very good. I've had no probs with it in the 2 or 3 years I've had it. I've only used it for round overs, but I have no reason to think it can't do other jobs 👍
@@hammy1988 Cool! I put the link in the description for you. If you arnt happy with it amazon are good at returning thiings. But im sure youll like it cheers!
I bought one of these after seeing your video last year. It now sits in the corner of the workshop gaining dust…. The blades on the cutter weren’t good enough to cut the oak Veneer and the black plate that the iron edging sit on while being fed through the machine would get to hot and start melting the glue before you would even start rolling🤦♂️
That's a real shame. I haven't had any of those problems whatsoever, and I've gone through 100's of metres of veneer and other edging. Would you sell it?
@@thelondoncraftsmanworkshop No Don’t use it. we assemble our furniture in units so I think it would worked if we did just had panels and boards. Ah well always keeping my eye out for easier/ faster ways to do the job.
As an owner of a large joinery shop I like your clamping system
Thank you, Yes it does work very well :-)
Thanks Ryan
Lovely. Thank you. I just start to use it after I bough it from 8 years ago, just resrarting the joinert ! GOD bless you!
Glad it was helpful!
Cheers Ryan
I have a bathroom vanity/closet job coming up that needs lots of edgebanding. This video convinced me to make the investment. Thanks!
That's great!! 👍👍👍
hi mate, is this melt glue that you buy and put seperate?
Great video! I've been looking for one of these for a while
Cheers mate, they are pretty good for the money!
See you soon
What is the box that you have it plugged into
Without watching the video back, I think it's a power pack (big battery ) 👍
