Thanks for your great ideas. I love the rotating cannon too, but I'm not sure I'll be able to implement it, as I've used most of the space for the 4th room. But I'm still thinking about it. :)
I really like that ramp mod. That's a pretty clever way to hide the mechanism too.
All extremely impressive, but what amazed me the most is room 4, never knew there would be a way to make that into a useable space! Please make a part 3! :)

Awesome! I have been wanting to get this set and wanted to give it more of an interior but I didn’t know if it was possible to do so while still keeping its sturdy build. This video really helps and showed me that when I get this set I can add more interior

Thanks for all the ideas especially with the seats . Since the rear seats in the Falcon are the same as the engineering seat in the chess room i bought all the elements to make two more for the rear seats in the cockpit , more movie accurate in the world of Lego but your frt seats are spot on considering there isnt any ..

It Looks soo nice. I really Love IT. Do you have a list with all the parts you used to Order IT for all of your Changes ? Really wanna try that myself
No, sorry. I’ve made the changes in a time range of a pair of years, so I had not a full part list. But, if you import all the single LDD projects in the same Stud.io file, you can then automatically create a Bricklink pieces list. But keep in mind you may still need single adjustments here and there (some changes are huges, and I’ve made minor changes while building, following the moods). :)

Wow. Great work on the mods! This will be my first time modding something that isn't my own, and especially not something of this scale. Honestly, I'm really afraid that I'm going to break everything or tear everything apart. I've already downloaded the files needed with LDD and Stud.io, but it's my first time using those as well.

I understand your fears, because I had them too. Just start from a very simple mod (like the engine), and see how it goes.
At the end of the day the MF is not that complex, it’s just a mix of simple modules put together. What scares is the fact they’re a lot. Keep the manual on your side, and be ready to rebuild some part from scratch in case you mess up something. But honestly, I don’t think it’s very easy to do great mistakes (I didn’t, even if I’m good to mess things up, and I was experimenting changes nobody tried before). :)
You should mod the LEGO 10212 imperial shuttle next so it has an interior

Does anyone know how to open the file in the article for the cockpit mod? I’ve been trying to understand how but I have no idea
You need Lego Digital Design or Stud.io. Search for them in Google and you’ll find the links for download.
Hi. Im finally getting around to modifying my falcon... I'm really impressed with the way you did your cockpit. Do you possibly have some sort of stud.io or LDD file about how you did it? Looks so good!

No, for the moment I'm satisfied. Some little ideas here and there but nothing real for now. :)
Do these mods affect the structural stability and if it does how major is the effect on it?
Spark Shark None of my mods changed the main structure of the ship, so the structural stability is unchanged as well. I’ve just “filled” empty spaces. :)

More than two years passed since I’ve made these mods, so I wouldn’t be able anymore (can’t remember how I’ve made them). But you can download all the Lego Digital Designer files from the article in the description. With them you can see and study all the changes. :)
