Pardon my one after another comments here today Nick but I just got around to posting comments on this Podcast today but I’ve have watched them before and am listening again today as they’re worth repeat listening. Really enjoyable.
Two of my favorite character actors open up this film…Charles Lane ( was there ever a movie from that time that he wasn’t in? ) and William Demarest doing the “ back up- go ahead “ bit….😅😅😅😅😅
My father had a sound and color super 8 projector and would play the half hour reels for all the neighborhood kids on the front deck in the summer time. (summer house in Breezy Point - rockaway) The favorite was Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein which started with Drac coming down for the party scene.
That is so cool. I can remember birthday parties when the projector would come out and we'd watch all our favorites. Ah, those were the days. :) Thanks for listening.
