I've never seen someone march a full size marimba. 😂 I have seen a marching marimba several times, but with just one and a half octave of fiber keys on a aluminum frame and with aluminum resonation tubes those aren't too big and not too heavy either. They are heavier that most bass drums though.

Love this! Just a suggestion, if you're needing something in focus that's close to the camera, along with the object in the background in focus, you can turn your F-Stop up to like 18-20 or more. That will keep everything in focus :) *Edit* it looked like you figured it out when you got outdoors, and the camera was struggling to figure out which to focus on. You could also turn auto focus to manual focus and it wouldn't struggle deciding which object to focus on. *EDIT EDIT* Camera 1 iPhone 11 Pro Max Camera 2 Sony a7iii Camera 3 GoPro Camera 4 iPhone XS Max ;)

Did the math and that stick toss was 122.5 meters. So to find initial velocity of the toss I did Vf = Vi + a*t and plugged in the variables with t = 5 and a = -9.8 m/sec^2 because gravity. Since were solving for initial velocity and final velocity is 0 because were measuring up to the apex the equation becomes -Vi = (-9.8)(5) which equals to 49m/sec. Now to find distance is Xf = Xi + Vi*t + (1/2) a*t^2 and all you do is plug in the numbers to get Xf = 49(5) + (1/2) (-9.8) (5)^2 which comes out to 122.5 meters

Focus on your grace notes and make sure you have a good upstroke also just record your self and listen to your flams and decide if they are to open or to flat and that should quite a bit buy I'm far from a professional I'm just in 10th grade lmao but I know playing flam accents helped me and those things developed my flams pretty well hope that helped some.

you can get more ping shots by doing a double stroke technique , but having your sticks at the back edge, and pushing down on the drum more, but not too much. good content btw!

I do this thing with my fingers where i do a single stroke roll...i start with right pinky then left pinky then right ring finger left ring finger and so on and so forth...i can do a video if im not explaining it very well...but id love to see you try this technique on the drumometer.
I played techdeath so long i smash 1200 Single Stroke Rolls everyday and never thought it was special. I do like playing bullshit like Ophiohydrocordycepts, Disfigurring the Goddess, Asmodeus. Nice job killin it.
that #1 fastest singles is just a quick rate over 15 mins. one guy in our band can do 8 or 10 seconds much blazingly faster than that dude. he's the downstroke king, can play a roll on a pillow!
