zutomayo is one of the bands that pushed indie animators/artist to its limit~
Most of the zutomayo's MVs back then was only made by a single animator on each mv, that's why some of the animations might be look rough.
she's also one of the first jpop artist that i've listened to before i get into Eve, yorushika, ado, yoasobi etc.
Zutomayo the band that uses old tv, recording tapes and even a microwave as instrument
it always wow me when i see their live with all these random instrument and how all these come together to make such awesome music and song

So in Japan, they are called “nocturnal” artists all three together.
There is huge fandom of “nocturnal“ artists/ music in Japan.

I like how in Hunch Gray, when the beat drops the first time, the cannon shoots. it's lined up so perfectly and i love it.
Also, one ZUTOMAYO animation i like (the song is really good aswell) is Neko Reset. but just the visuals in it is insane.

omg so happy you checked zutomayo out, it is one of my favorite bands, their type of composition is reaaally good, they use very unique instruments aswell and obviously, since there are always new musicians coming in and out and coming back, their instrumentals are fire, but also both pleasantly familiar and unique. I know you guys love animated mv's, i highly recommend them but, i really reaaaaally recommend for yall to check out their live performances, the stage and experience it's just amazing and you'll get to check out the clever and again, unique instruments they use.

Omg I got to see a zutomayo reaction vid but you guys also mentioned Gorillaz! just a little information about them: Gorillaz is a virtual band. there are four characters, but they do not have actual people behind it. there’s actually only two people who created the band. one in charge of all the music and the other the art! the person in charge of music is the one who sings too, but he isn’t exactly that character. That band is very heavy on lore. Edit: they’re from the UK☺️. but the characters are kind of their own person without having a real person behind them. they kind of made them aware that they were characters. It this makes any sense.

the “Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka?” endings are both really damn good. first is an emotional rollercoaster thats somehow simultaneously 5 genres, second is just a really solid rock song.

hey guys! I know you are doing more anime japanese music reaction videos but i was wondering iff maybe you'd be intterested in checking out music from the anime style (but chinese) game Genshin Impact, it is famously known for its incredible music and i think you guys would like it as well as i'd be intterested to hear your thoughts on the mixes of genres (they often incorporate modern elements into tradional instrument of the regions the game is inspired by) a lot of the characters theme are pretty short but super good (like "Rex Incognito" only 1:20) and the Boss OSTs are bangers my favourite being the "Scaramouch boss all phases" and they also do live orchestra/symphonic performances and concert (again my very biased suggestion being "Sumeru Live Symphony Performance") anyway fun video as always guys yall are super entertaining :D

As a hardcore Zutomayo fan, I feel you, but you can say "why not *song name*" about like half of their songs, they are THIS good. So either upset some of the fans, or make 2 hour long video :)
