that moment palmark is sent out with the tyrfing and the kids, and the forces at chalphy all step out to fight, then this music kicks in with the stinging intro... it gives me goosebumps honestly. you did a great job
Just wanted to say all of your FE4 remastered OSTs are fantastic. This is my favourite and it's very rare to see FE4 related stuff. I hope we get a 100% faithful remake (with some of QoL changes) so that the whole world can experience this beast of a game. The gameplay, characters, story and music are all amazing, and it's sad to see Nintendo not doing anything with it. So thank you and keep doing god's work. You're awesome 😁
If you study the history and background of Loptuo well, you should understand before Grannavale was formally established and the Loptuo people were bannished due to their desire to kill and obsession of dangerous dark magic. And also Loptuo race are descents of the dark dragon and the blood they have in their veins ,are from Dark dragon. Emperor Arvis was a hidden loptuo but disguised himself as the fire mage and initially he resisted his fate but later on in vain cos he desired to get sigherd's wife and was seduced by the evil archbishop. After Arivs cowardly ambushed Sigherd and raped his wife, he took absolutely controll of the kingdom as well. when he turned older , he gave birth to his prince Julius and of course later, Arivs was showing some kind of remorse when his wife died later and was too powerless to stop his son's total madness , the Kindom of Grannvale was gradually controlled by dark prince Julius himself and it should be called the theme of Loptuo imperial army . As for Julius , he also shared the descent of dark dragon blood and what is even worse than his father , he didn't inherit any humanity from his parents at all.And we all know same to Arvis, and Julius is just another pawn of the archbishop malfory,the dragon blood drinker ,the pure evil itself.
This is one of my favs from the Original and I must say y'all did an amazing job. Only thing I dislike is how when the new instruments come in...their mixed at the same or lower volume then the rest, so the song lost a little of it's bombasticality

Haven’t played FE4 yet but this is probably my favorite enemy phase theme in the series Update: Have since played FE4, this is still my favorite enemy phase theme. The moment when the reinforcements first come out of Chalphy in Chapter 10 and the theme started gave me chills.

I tried to make it sound a bit different from the in-game version, since both versions sounded very alike, just that one had the Loptous motif.
That ominous choir in the background is great. Really adds something to the track.
It was a 10/10 addition, the regular theme is almost identical to Grannvale army 1.

A little late but you can also hear parts of the Loptyr theme in Gen 2’s version of the theme as well. It fits pretty well
