people do not understand, having less possessions removes stress exponentially, same as imagine living in a place where you are unable to even move, breathe due to clutter, with stuff you do not even use... Working at a clean desk, even hiding cables helps you focus more. People are used to show off to others, look I have this much money, I have the newest car.. etc, nobody cares about their insecurities, needing to prove themselves lacking self respect/discipline and self-esteem :) Nobody cares what you own. A happy person just does not give a dime

Lol nice video man, sending some Algorithm love your way. I like the idea of downsizing monthly budgets and challenging to live as minimal as possible. Right now I am at a cross road to work on an oil field for a month at a time (its pretty miserable and have to leave my family) or living overseas and making a fraction of the money and practice living cheaper. Haha on my death bed, I regret my concrete is cracked and I am glad i went up to the arctic to freeze my 00s off lol. I forgot to ask, are you on a balikbayan visa or did you apply for 13a? Thank you sir!

$1T a month is more that enough if you have your own house to live in and you live like us. my parents with 4 children survived on less than that amount for years. we lived a simple life and have had simple and free pleasures -- a walk along the beach was preferred. we rarely visited malls or department stores.

Well, $1000 per month is enough to live decent in the Philippines.. uuhh.. that is you already have a house and a vehicle of your own.. a range of $2000 to $5000 a month is something that you still spend building a house you like, rent to own lot, if you have a lot of kids, or something a sort of investment of personal needs not wants..

I can live in the Philippines with $500 a month. Now that beats your $1,000 a month in half, that is a challenge. Americans need to stop working too much to by material things like Nike shoes and IPADS and learn to eat dried fish, eggs and rice. LOL
