I thought I'd make a remake of this nice song (which doesn't remind of Sakamoto's "Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence"-track, at all ;) ) using only analog synthesizers as instruments.
I'm sorry for the crappy camera work and sloppy gameplay. I just wanted something interesting to watch instead of just static images that I use sometimes.
Also, if you notice slight inconsistencies between what I'm playing on the keyboards and what you're actually hearing, you're probably right ;)

Rob Hubbard is the original author of this piece of music. But the inspiration came from a beautiful melody by Ryuichi Sakamoto, who died today . Rest in Peace.

heard this several times over the years and still can't get over how you recreated the glitchy sid ("fx") sound so precisely. My only guess is that you were able to analyze the c64 track with some kind of sid editor and/or slow playback so you would know where to begin with the modular patch. Anyway you are an outstanding programmer!
